Some color of towel will look shiny on the Turkish towel. Turkish cotton is the best washed in warm water using half the amount of a gentle detergent recommended. Bleach will make the white towels harder hand feel. Fabric softener will actually decrease the absorbency of the towel, so avoid using fabric softener.

These are very nice towels and I like the texture and found the largest to be a lovely wrap-around size. However, the product description is misleading--what I thought was 4 bath sheets actually opened to be 2 bath sheets, 2 hand towels and 2 wash cloths. I have decided not to return them because I really like them, and might order another set if I could be sure of exactly what was included.

The quality of the towels is as expected: they are on the thinner side but absorb moister nicely and dry quickly. Based on the towels alone, I would rate the product four stars. However, I did not receive the product as advertised. The description indicates that four sheet towels are sold. I received 2 towel sheets, along with 2 hand towels and 2 face towels. I didn't want the extras. In fact, I needed the two additional towel sheets that were not included in the package.

High-quality and nice towels.
Really nice towels - well made, feel luxe and very bright white. My dryer eats towels, and I have been impressed how well these have held up. Wish I could get handtowels to match!
