These are Really well done. These are hand done so each lot you buy will look different. So i think that is awesome because then if you want a battlefield of all sorts of obstacles they will have a real feel to them rather than 12 of the same thing over and over again.... And you even get the clear stands that aren't just squares but shaped out in asteroid shapes to add that real feel to maneuvering around them. The hand painting is very well done,multi textured with shadowing and highlighting, Even rust in areas, I cant' complain about a single thing there that for sure. They look really nice. These add a really awesome look to your Space Combat miniature Battles in Games like Star Wars X-Wing or Star Wars Armada.I've contacted the seller hes very nice and he can give you quotes on other painting projects you might want done with this same detail.Well worth the price In my honest opinion. I'm very satisfied.

Not sure what everyone else got, but I am not as impressed as they were. They will do the job, but I could had done the rocks myself and just paid for the stands. They did not fit as perfectly as everyone else descripted, they are a bit loose. It's just a hole in a Styrofoam. In the photos, all the pieces look like they have a certain way to stay on the stand, but the reality is they just flop around loosely since the holes are too big for the stand. For the money I spent, I would expect a higher quality product. The rocks should be of a better material than Styrofoam, which is starting to fall apart as soon as they put it in the box. I need to color some of the white in with a black marker. If you are good at making your own table tops terrain pieces, then you should do yourself. For the average person that doesn't have that experience to make their own, this should work for them, but the price really needs to go down. Visually it should be ok for games, just make sure your guest players don't rough handle the pieces. I got the set for both X-Wing and the Armada, but now wish I only got the Armada set since making the ship wrecks and space station would be difficult, but the rocks would be easy to do.

I love these. They are a hit whenever I break them out. The only thing that could improve them would be to magnetize the asteroids to the top of the posts.I have done this with mine, and it makes dealing with them during game smoother. Just a suggestion for product improvement. I have only done 6 of my 12. My second set of 6 is for people to borrow. The people that borrow them keep bugging me to get around to magnetizing the non magnetized set.

These "Space-Rocks" are great! In perfect scale with X wing miniatures. They come with clear bases and rods to hold the rock or you could just place them right on the playfield. The customer service is excellent. I can't recommend them more.
