WeberDeluxe Grilling Pan

We love to grill vegetables. Had an old non-stick type pan, but it got rusted thru and was unsafe to use. I finally settled on this Grill Pan. Frankly it is the best twenty bucks I spent.The stainless steel will discolor if heated too much, but cleaning is not too bad. The first time I used it without oiling the pan, cleaning needed quite a bit of scrubbing. I ended up using oven cleaner (Easy Off) and it worked pretty well - got all the crud off. I now oil the pan before putting it on the grill and clean up is not bad. The advantage of stainless steel is that with a bit of care it will give good service and there is nothing to flake off.I also bought the veggie basket and use both interchangeably. The lips all around are great, I just use a spatula to lift the veggies to a serving dish.LOVE: Quality of construction; Cost; Raised lips all around; MaterialHATE: Cleanup is tough, but it is no tougher than with so called non-stick pans - had one.Would I recommend it - definitely; I plan to replace mine with a similar one when this one goes (or I get tired of it)

War eine gute Entscheidung sich die Grillpfanne anzuschaffen. Habe einen Weber Q300 Gasgrill. Hier paßt sie optimal drauf und man kann auch noch mehrere Steaks gleichzeitig grillen. Die Platte ist ideal für Grillkartoffeln oder schon vorgekochte halbierte Kartoffelhälften. Nattürlich auch für Gemüse und Fisch. Die Pfanne kann so wie sie ist mit einer Unterlage auf den Eßtisch serviert werden. Die Flammen sollten nicht zu hoch eingestellt werden. Grillgut lieber 2 Min. länger verweilen lassen und Restwärme nutzen.

Yes, this pan is expensive at $19.99. It helps that there is super saver shipping, and when I bought this, it also qualified on the 4 for 3 special. My husband was impressed with the quality of the steel and workmanship in this item. I'm thinking that in light of the reviews citing difficulty in cleaning that I will try PAM on the surface and will report on that later. It is suitable for the dishwasher per the packaging.

This Grill pan has deep enough sides to allow you to flip the vegetables without spillin them over. Tongues worked better then a flat utencil.I suggest you clean the grill pan right after grilling on all surfaces otherwise it becomes difficult to clean the heated surfaces when they cool down. Overall we are pleased with this grill pan and plan to use it to grill shrimp and fish.
