Beautiful...and Great for San Francisco Commute
I recently moved to San Francisco, and this bike is great for my daily commute. The 7 speeds allow me to cruise up and down the SF hills and with the fenders and chainguard, I never worry about getting dirty. I get tons of compliments on the color and the design every day that I ride. Seriously. My commute would be a lot faster if I didn't stop to chat with all the folks who comment on my bike and ask me where I got it. I recommend PUBLIC to all of my friends because this bike is great and because they have a great selection in other kinds of bikes, too.

I love my PUBLIC V7
I love my PUBLIC V7. With 7 gears, it's the perfect all-season get around commuter bike and I've found that it requires minimal maintenance. It even comes standard with a kickstand, chain guard and color matching fenders! I do strongly recommend adding the color matching rear rack to fully compliment the bike. The bike does ships unassembled, so take PUBLIC 's word and have your local bike shop complete assembly to ensure everything is working order before you take it out for your first spin. I can't thank PUBLIC enough for designing a bike that cater to those of us who just looking to casually ride! Keep up the good work.

Just look at this stunning bike, the green color is so beautiful and eye catching especially in person. Be cautioned you won't be able to go that far without receiving a million compliments : ) Easy to ride. smooth and comfortable. The drop handlebars are nice if you don't like that super upright ride you get with the more beach cruiser style handlebars but still have a comfortable upright seating position (I don't like the super aggressive hunched over handlebars).

Beautiful, functional commuter or recreational bike
This a beautiful British Racing Green bike gets a lot of compliments by my friends and fellow bicyclists. The 7 speeds works great in hilly SF. I like that my riding position is upright so I don't have to hunch my back while riding. The steel frame feels light but durable.

I think they really only changed the handlebars and the rainbow stripes but for some reason the bike looks and feels super sleek
