Plans are high, but you get 5 copies of each building plan.

Nice book. Plans don’t take into account HVAC or water heater locations, etc.

This is such a great resource when you're thinking of building a new home. Lots of different floor plans two-story & one-story with that country ranch flare.

I disliked the lack of different home layouts , given all that was supposedly included. They become boring within a few pages. I wouldn’t have purchased them had I knew what they were like. I would have been better of with a subscription to Dwell. Boring. Thakeba square or a rectangle and divide it up by the rooms you want. That’s how inspiring these two books are?

If you are looking to build a smaller house around 1500-1800sqft, this is NOT the book for you. House range from 2000-6000sqft. There were only 5 options in the range we are looking for. I basically wasted my money.

Writing and other important information (dimensions, etc) too small and too lightly printed to read easily. Even with lighted magnifying glass. I would not recommend this book. Too frustrating to get entire picture.
