Great product easy install
Excellent product already had old one pulled out took me 10 minutes to install the new one alone hopefully won't have too but will defiantly buy again if steering stiffens up

Good fit for 1993 Maxum 1800
I have a 1993 Maxum 1800 runabout with Alpha One Mercruiser stern drive. The steering was getting exceedingly difficult to turn, especially at slower speeds, so it was time to change the cable. The boat's parts list showed the original cable to be some obscure number which I could not find anywhere. With a bit more research, I found this cable in 14' length and took a gamble. This cable seems to be identical and it is a direct match, and fit just like the stock one. The steering is now back to normal. The gamble paid off.

I accidentally bought two of these and had to return ...
I accidentally bought two of these and had to return this one because, well, I didn't need two of the exact same steering cables. But, the one I kept worked perfectly in my 1993 Manta Ray 189SF.

fixed the issue with the wheel hard to turn and seems to be well made. everything fit back together with no install issues

Perfect fit for my 16' Thermoglass run about
Perfect fit for my 16' Thermoglass run about. Fought for the past years with the steering always seizing up and being very hard to steer. This new cable solved that problem I now have 1 hand steering. Should have bought it 2 years ago :)
