I don't think it's the real thing or maybe mine was just old
I tried this for the first time hoping it was the real thing that I had been exposed to while visiting Indonesia recently. It is not. I steeped a bag for almost 30 minutes and nothing. I was just drinking hot water. No taste whatsoever and the water didn't even change colors.

Awful taste
I bought this because it appears that Stash Tea no longer offers their Mangosteen Tea, which I love. This was awful, I ended up throwing it away.
