Doesn't eliminate pain completely, but used in conjunction with other therapies, it can be helpful
I first bought this in a bath products shop. The shop owner saw me in my wheelchair, saw me reading about it, and said that it really worked. I am always skeptical of things like this as "snakeoil," but I tried a sample on my shoulders in the shop and noticed a little relief. It has arnica in it, which was the main ingredient in a product called Traumeel. However, Traumeel has since been purchased by another company called Arnicare, and the formula has been revamped. I like original Traumeel but can't find it in its original formula. When I saw that arnica was in this, I thought that it had to provide some kind of benefit. And it does.Horrible name in my opinion, as it kind of implies that it's a contraceptive. My mother recently pinched a nerve and is in a lot of pain so I bought this off Amazon and sent it to her. She has been using for twice a day for about four days now and thinks it is helping. She likes the fragrance, too. Not overwhelming.Be careful that you don't use this on skin that's got a cut on it because it will sting like crazy.I am in pain 24/7 from a rare neurological condition, and this helps some of the pain. For those in constant pain, it isn't going to eliminate the pain completely. But I use it in conjunction with other therapies, and think that it is helpful when used with those other therapies. It would not be the end all-be all for my type of pain without the other therapies. I think people with normal aches and pains will find it helpful.I'm very glad my mom is getting relief from it.

Didn't work as well as I thought it would. My aunt uses this and swears by it. We bought it to try. The smell is lovely though.

I discovered Ortho Jelly in a bathing suit shop in Florida in March. It was spur of the moment decision to buy it. I then forgot all about it until I developed shingles. Four months later the only topical substance I have found to relieve some, but not all, of my post herpetic nerve pain is the Ortho Jelly. It has a pleasant odor of a mixture of mint, tee tree oil, and menthol which is not so overwhelmingly obvious that people might wonder what you had just put on your body!

This will relive more pain than is listed
I have Pinched nerves in neck and leg. This cream is the best I have ever used. A little goes a long way. Hate it they have gone up in price, because I use it all the time.

No magic in Ortho Jelly. I wish I had felt a powerful relief come from that jar, but I didn't. Just a rub probably similar to any other rub and that's what you get.
