Great kit but know what you are getting
For first time buyers, understand this is a kit, and it does NOT include everything you need to assemble and go driving. You will need hand tools to assemble the chassis, and a hobby knife to cut out and prepare the body. You will also need to paint the body with your choice of color. You will also need an ESC (Electronic Speed Controller) , a radio w/receiver, and a battery. This is a great kit, but it is slightly different than the kit you will find at American hobby stores. The kit sold by Tamiya USA and (hobby stores) is Item 58605A, this is 58605 (no 'A' on the end). That means it is missing the Hobbywing ESC and the Tamiya LED light kit from the 'A' version, which is why it is much less expensive.

It’s a Tamiya!
This actually came from Japan, so I had to wait a little longer, but it only took about a week to get to me. Watching various reviews on YouTube, it seems the US version comes with the esc, and the Europe version gets a light set. This one was $75 cheaper than the US version, and you could buy the Hobbywing esc or Tamiya’s light set for $50, which still puts you $25 ahead.Regarding the kit itself, there are plenty of more detailed reviews out there, but it is a Tamiya, so you get what you expect from any Tamiya kit. The full model building experience. Goes together easily. Fitment is excellent, making for an enjoyable building experience, and while being very basic out of the box, the sky is the limit for hopups. I built mine box stock with the included motor, and it performs very good, but will require some tuning and upgrading (probably doing a 2wd conversion on mine) for some serious drifting.

This kit was awesome to build and was very fun to drive
This kit was awesome to build and was very fun to drive. Im also surprised that the kit came with ball bearing a sport tuned motor (better than silver can motor) and an aluminum heat sink. Adding on one thing. The spare parts just for the body cant be bought separately since they were discontinued, but if you break something on the chassis then it can be replaced or upgraded to aluminum.

WRONG DESCRIPTION PARTS MISSING
The description for this kit is not accurate. The kit does NOT INCLUDE an ESC, despite the description clearly stating that it is included. The rest of the kit looks to be fine, just know that you have to order an ESC separately, adding another $20-$30 to the price of the kit.
