Great little light with a little modification
I bought this because I needed a small light for a 3 gallon cube that wasn't so tall that it hit the top of my shelf it was kept on. Honestly, it's fantastic. It's small, it looks nice, and it's bright enough to light up the whole tank but isn't crazy bright. For nano tanks, I wholly recommend this light.Do be aware that the other reviews are right and it does angle forward to hit more of the tank. If you're lighting a bigger tank, you're gonna want that. In my case, I really don't want light shining at my computer. I solved it by heating the light with a hair dryer and slightly bending it so it points straight down, then applying a thin strip of electrical tape to the front of the light housing. It looks perfect now, lights my tank perfectly, and it was a fantastic purchase.

Good for the money
A lot smaller than anticipated but it worked out because my fish prefer it on the dimmer side anyways. For the money, can't complain, nice light

Light may get in your eyes too
This light is very easy to place onto your tank, bright, and a great price. However, there is a slight upward angle to it, which can be harsh on your eyes. I have a 5 gallon rimless tank (no plastic boarder on the top) on a kitchen counter. From this height, the light ends up in your eyes, but this may not be the case if you have the tank on a desk or lower surface. I did return it for this reason.

Has an upwards tilt and gets light in your eyes :/
It’s extremely bright for being so small and clips on very easily! I like the on/off button so you don’t have to unplug it, but the light itself has an upwards tilt, like I saw another reviewer say, and it gets in your eyes ):I sort of solved the problem by putting some electrical tape on it so that it hangs over the edge of the light. It’s pretty annoying though, so I’m probably going to return it.

Better than anticipated
This light is just as described. It is actually better than I anticipated. The light is bright and my plants are showing growth. It’s a nice fit and does not take up a lot of space. I recommend it.

Super cheap
Super super cheap looking and feeling. I got a WAY nicer light for my other nano tank for literally one dollar more. Do not get this if you are trying to grow any sort of aquarium plants. I didn’t even plug it in to be honest. I will be returning.

So bright!
We use our fish tank for a night light in the living room.. I was worried that this little itty bitty fish light wouldn't have been bright enough but my God this thing is perfect it doesn't block the view of the top of the tank or make a spotlight in the tank!

Perfect for a 1-5 gallon tank.
I bought a Penn-Plax, curved glass, 5 gal tank. A great tank, but it came with a junk light. This light fit the bill in terms of size, lumens and value. It’s keeping the plants (and fish) quite happy. It’s 2 years old, now.
