Fun Express Red and White Swirl Stovepipe Hat - Costume Accessories

I purchased this hat (as an add-on) back in 2015 to pair with a Dr.Seuss costume. The hat fits perfectly and every March (celebrating Dr. Seuss Month) I pull it out of storage to pair with my costume. My class loves the hat and it's a great ice breaker for my early morning classroom hallway greetings. I always keep a silk scarf on underneath due to the material becoming a little hot after a few hours of wear. I hand-wash my hat in cold water, lay it flat to dry, and it's good to go. I bough this hat for Dr. Seuss day for work because I didn't want the traditional straight stripes. Not sure if I'd pay 3 bucks for this hat tho. It's the same material and quality as the hats you can get from the dollar bins at T arget. But it did the job. The hat was able to stick straight up without me having to stuff it.

Bought this hat for a Dr. Seuss themed birthday party for my one year old son. It was way too big for both my baby and myself. Rating 3 stars because I was able to get several adorable photos of my son in it, even with is being way too large.

It meet my expectations, I did have to stuff it for it to stand up.

Hat is fun and can be used for a Dr. Seuss event or anything where you want red and white. My advice is to put two or three air pocket bags (the bags for packing that are usually included in Amazon shipping boxes) inside the hat to keep the top up as there's nothing in the hat to make it stand up.

You get what you pay for. It suited our needs for Dr. Seuss day and my pre-schooler had fun with it.

So when you wear this hat at a party, people flock to you for no reason. I stuffed it with the packing bags, those filed with air, so it had a funny shape. The debate as to whether or not it is a Dr. Seuss hat was a good conversation starter, as some people will assume that, and then you can watch and see if anyone remembers that the Dr. Seuss hat actually has horizontal shapes.
