Guzetop 6" Front Grille Emblem Hood Badge Logo Chrome Color Symbol for Cadillac

I replaced both front and rear emblems on my 2008 Cadillac Escalade base model. I purchased the 6” version. It is clearly slightly larger than the original front emblems. The new laurel is larger and has to be used in the front. The two original equipment top guide tabs of the original are obvious when centering the larger new laurel. This is not a problem IMHO. In the rear the new emblem is contoured for a peaked surface not flat and is not advertised for rear use. The OE emblem is available on Amazon with a GM number. My concern is the original will again become faded. In the rear I never removed my old laurel b/c it is essentially the same size and in great shape. I used this 6” emblem for the rear as well and although designed for the peaked or canted front surface it appears to fit well with less adhesion to the flat surface. There is a gap in the center which I will attempt to use silicone or another thicker foam 3m product to eliminate. Time will tell if the quality of the product is worthy of the investment.

I actually used this as a cake topper for my Nephews 16th birthday. He wanted a Cadillac for his birthday since he just got his liscence, he didn’t get a Cadillac, he got a Cadillac cake and a Chevy Cavalier to drive. We event sure how he would feel about the joke, but he loved the cake and the Cadillac symbol which he put on his Cavalier! Just to note, the emblem was sat upon a dried piece of Fondant so that it could be removed and not touch the cake.

Super. No alignment pins but a little effort and a good eye will overcome that.

Within months, the colors faded, the red completely gone. A piece of junk.
