Nice looking addition to my silverado crew cab truck.
I just purchased a 2021 Silverado Trail Boss. This truck model comes lifted, making the averaged sized person struggle to get in and out. These steps solved this issue. My son and I installed these steps in about 2 hours. I read a review from someone claiming they were almost impossible to install. I disagree. I'm also an engineer and didn't have too much difficultly installing them. The two negative comments I have is that they scratched too easily (when I was taking them out of the box). Also, they are made in China....if you watch the manufacturing video for the Magnum RT steps you'll be led to believe they are American made (although they never claim they are).

WOW
These side steps are awesome. The brackets lined up perfect to the threaded holes included on my 2020 Chevy 1500 RST Crew Cab. If your doing yourself install brackets on truck but don't tighten bolts and nuts. Then install side steps to brackets and adjust where you want them and then tighten all bolts and nuts. Will have to see how they hold up in use.

DO NOT BUY THESE IF YOU HAVE A SILVERADO CREW CAB
First off, if you have a Silverado crew cab, look closely at the pictures, I didn't. These steps run all the way to the back of the cab, but at the front of the cab they are a few inches short. I didn't notice that in the picture, but did when I tried to install them.As for Installation: I've been working on cars since I was 14. I'm an engineer and I'm no dummy. I have a 2019 Silverado crew cab. The mounting brackets hung just fine - no issues. But mounting the steps to the brackets is impossible. The directions show the T-Bracket (one welded in bolt on one side, a welded in nut on the other) going from the bottom of the bracket with the one bolt attached extending into the step. The bolts are barely long enough to get the washer, and lock washer on plus the nut started- they could have popped a fraction of a cent and made them 1/4" longer. The access to the inside of the step is through holes not big enough for a man's hands to get into. If you have hands like a baby and fingers like ET you have a chance. So, after 5 minutes or so of juggling the weight of the step on my chest, I finally got the nut started on the bolt. I have a fine tooth ratcheting wrench. I get it on the nut and there is not enough room inside the step to tighten the nut and then get back one click on the wrench. There is no way to install these as the directions state.Threading a bolt from the inside of the step out to the weld nut in the T bracket is just as difficult if not impossible. The directions only say (2,3,4-Washer, Lock washer, nut) in that area but the T-bracket doesn't have a bolt on that side, just a welded in nut - so obviously I have to put a bolt in from the inside of the step - which is just as difficult if not more than the first step. Regardless, I can't get a tool inside the step that will tighten anything! I looked at other steps like yours on amazon, They have roughly the same design. Their designs are all similar, but T-Brackets have 2 bolts, not a bolt and a nut. At least with that design you can route the T-bracket inside the step and the nuts that need tightened would be outside the step.I wanted to return this junk for one of those sets, but the seller makes you pay the return shipping! because they are 54 lbs - 4 lbs over the 50 lb standard flat fee UPS uses, UPS wants $187 to ship from Ohio to Indiana, so I'm stuck with this junk. Off to the hardware store as I will need to do some fabrication to make these work.

May not fit 2019 Sierra
The box I received my bars in had been previously opened. The bolt holes on the front of the cab fit great but the back mount bracket was about a foot off. I modified the brackets and with self tapping bolts was able to make them work Possibly why the box had been opened before they look good on the truck but did not fit

Not worth the trouble
Certain models of Chevrolet trucks require you to drill extra holes to mount mounting brackets. 90 degree drill and short drill bit required due to small space available. These are also not packaged well and are easily scratched. Had to return first set due to numerous powder coating scratches.

Great Value and awesome build
Very well made. Strong and well packaged. If you have any mechanical skills it will only take you about one hour to install these. Very easy. Just assemble and bolt on to the truck. They leave no gap between the steps and the cab of the truck, They don't look "Added On"Well worth the money and very easy to get in and out of the cab.
