Aqua Glow in The Dark Powder Pigment - Brightest Course Glow Sand 150 Microns (16 Ounces (1lb))

I don't want to give this company's product a bad review. I bought some glow powder to mix with clear outdoor paint to paint handrails and a large rock near my front steps - with the hope of making it easier to find my front steps in the dark. The powder is sand - it immediately sank to the bottom of my clear paint. Couldnt "mix it" so i ended up scooping it out of the bottom of my cup with a plastic spoon and scooping it onto the rock and smearing it around. I didnt have enough for the 2 short handrails. I assumed there would be a LOT more sand based on the price. I feel that maybe a solid measure would be more helpful than a weight measure. So for example - if it said " 2 teaspoons" /"one tablespoon"/1/8 of a cup - I might have had a better idea of how little paint to buy ( and I am not sure that there was even that much in the little bag). I bought a Quart of clear paint - I probably needed 1/2 cup. Also - listing the mixing ratio on the product description would have also been helpful - because I wanted to have my clear paint and "glow powder" to arrive from amazon on the same day - so I wouldnt have ordered so much paint. Finally - the company sends a free tiny keychain with the glow powder - which was a nice surprise. The glow powder DOES glow under the black light from the key chain. But my rock does not glow at night after all day sunshine; under the dim light of solar lights; or from my car headlights. I tried every scenario that I could think of to make it glow. So - if I take my little key chain and shine it on my rock - I can see spots of aqua glow. The entire rock is slightly whiteish green in the daylight - since I applied the paint and glow powder - but it does NOT glow at night - under any normal circumstance that I tried. It seems to ONLY glow under black light from the keychain. So - if you are having a rave - the product is probably awesome! But for outdoor use - it was a huge disappointment for me.

Good product takes a lot to get bright glow but looks awesome

This is my absolute favorite to paint with. The glow lasts longer than any other color or brand I've used and is mesmerizing.
