Everything was as it should be

This came with 9ft, 5in of gasket material. This was more than enough to replace the door gasket of my CL6048. I actually had about 5-inches left over. Perfect fit and easy to install. Toughest part is cleaning out the old sealant from the groove after pulling out the old gasket. Used a putty knife, screwdriver, and then wire brush to clean it out before installing the new gasket.

Fits the gap in my wood stove door and is long enough. Even though it is the required size it is so loosely woven it does not provide a tight seal when door is closed. Only comes with one tube of sealant which is not enough.

The old seal came out easy and the new one was just as easy to install

Easy to replace leaving about 1/2" overlap where the two ends meet. Cut with sharp scissors. Used a 1" copper fitting cleaning brush and screwdriver to clean out old channel where rope goes. Any wire brush should work. Solved my problem of boiler creeping up way past set point. Tip - on Central Boiler make sure nothing is hung up in damper door causing temp creeping up. Every year I have wasps make nests in there and they eventually fall off holding the damper slightly open.
