Works Great
Worked Great. There was no need for it to be smooth, so I just painted over it AFTER it dried. I would recommend identifying the problem first. For example, I had a closet added to a room, so the added walls being installed caused stress that resulted in the separation of dry wall there.

Fixes a medium sized hole quickly.
This was really easy to use, and it saved me time and money. There was a 4.8 inch by 7 inch hole in the wall behind my washer, caused by a slow leak at the hose/faucet connection. I have been putting off fixing it for several months, expecting to have to cut plaster board to fill it. Then I saw a similar product for smaller holes, and decided to search Amazon for something that would work for the larger hole. This cuts to size easily, with scissors, and literally took less than 2 minutes to wet and then affix to the wall. It dries quickly and is thin so it doesn't cause a bulge. I was able to plaster over it an hour later. Total time spent was about 10 minutes. This is a wonderful product.

Good Solution for an Odd Shaped Repair
I bought this Wall Repair Patch intending to cover a hole about 3" x 10" at the bottom of a wall where there had been water damage. The patch was supported by drywall on three sides and by a scrap of wood on the bottom that would be covered by baseboard. Some things to note:1. The directions don't say which side of the patch to stick to the wall. I assumed the side of the patch with raised texture would be the "sticky" side when wet, and that seems to be right.2. the patch is stiff when dry, but just a quick dip into warm water turns the patch into a limp. drippy thing that needs to be kept opened up and straight. I cut the patch to overlap the hole an inch on each side, and then, holding it with both hands, dunked one end of the patch into the warm water and moved it through the water to wet the entire patch without ever letting go of it. Pulling the upper corners away from the rest of the patch was a little tricky, but once it was properly aligned with the hole the patch stuck well and just needed to be smoothed along the edges. My original plans for the room I was remodeling as well as patching changed, and I ended up needing to use more of the patch material to repair an adjacent area. It would have been simpler to use a drywall scrap if I had realized earlier how much area I would end up covering, but once the first patch had dried it was simple to extend it.Other types of patches might be easier to use with other holes, but for my odd shaped repair this was the perfect solution. After it dried I covered it with joint compound and used a small sea sponge from the big box craft store to duplicate the texture on the wall.

Excellent product, saves time in drywall and plaster repairs
This is a great product, I used it at my previous home for repairing cracks and missing plaster that broke away when we had central air installed and vents put in the ceiling. I used it at this home to repair 4โ x 2โ missing drywall section in the ceiling after a kitchen renovation. Also used it on a wall where an old phone line was removed. Canโt tell it was ever there. Easy to use, spackle over the top, I highly recommend this product.

Ceiling work difficult
This patch kit worked great on vertical walls. I also had ceiling repairs to make. The product claimed it will work on ceilings. It did kind of but is much harder to work with. I had 3 spots to repair on my ceiling. The first attempt on the ceiling turned out well. The other 2 spots have visible sagging. I will probably need to cut the 2 saggy patches out and make a more traditional repair. I don't recommend this product for ceiling work. The product does work well on walls.

Easy to use drywall repair for textured walls.
I love this stuff! I had removed a glued on cove base baseboard after pulling up carpet in floor prep for laminate placement. Pulling off the cove base tore up the drywall. This was just perfect to use on the drywall to replace the area of destruction. Super easy to use, just wet, wring out, spread over your area, and smooth. I did sand where needed and in some areas where the original wall was especially destroyed I applied a texturizer to match the texture of the walls. Much easier to use than plain netting where you have to apply that with spackle or putty and then apply texturizer on top. My walls look great! I surprised myself with how well I was able to do this DIY job with this product. I would purchase this product again in a heartbeat.

Great Product for the Price!
I recently rewired my home and had many holes to patch from running wire and covering the old outlet boxes. This product covered the holes perfectly width wise and just had to cut to length for the height. This product is so easy to install. Just follow the instructions. Wet and Set. Wait until the patch has hardened (about 30 - 60 min) before applying joint compound. That easy! For the amount of patch that comes on this roll for the price... in my opinion cannot be beat. I just ordered another roll cuz I ran out. Great Product!

Most remarkable stuff
I am not a handyman, but had a couple of cracks in the ceiling of our older home; so I thought I would give this product a try. Repairing the ceiling was awkward; but once I got the hang of wetting the product, letting it dry to just the right point and then applying - it worked great. There is a "sweet spot" between too wet and too dry - once you figure that out the product does a really good job. ๐๐Thank you.

Waste of time for me
Tried to use this on a plasterboard wall, couldnt get it to work, looked a mess and I hacked it all out again. To me the principle is flawed in that you cover over the top of the hole rather than build up from underneath. Stick to an off cut of plasterboard a bit of wood, two screws and a tub of polyfilla.
