Got this for my father-in-law for Christmas. I was a little disappointed when I saw it, as I thought it was too small compared to other cordless drills, and I expected it to be too weak. Nope. Works just fine, Drills, screws in 4 inch screws, anything you need.It shows you battery charge level, but only when charging, NOT while operating. My father in law says he is happy with battery life, but I can't give you more specific information.Overall, seems to be a good choice, and we'll see if it holds up...UPDATE: less than a year later, the gears started grinding and squealing. I contacted the seller, and they sent a replacement promptly. Out of curiosity, I took the broken drill apart to see what had happened. The little wire spring that is under the 1/2 button on top of the drill somehow got disconnected and fell in the gear mechanism. Anyway, the quality of the gear system is very high, now that I was able to take it apart.UPDATE 2: I received the second tool recently. After 3 weeks, the gears started slipping on the new one, too. Do yourself a favor and buy a stronger drill.Worth mentioning that customer service is good

Im a professional carpenter for a living and bought this for my teenage son to teach some basic things. This seemed like a great all in one buy, but after using it twice the drill motor is dead/defective.I supervised my sons use, I’m a professional. No reason this should go dead after 20 minutes total of appropriate use.I will not recommend this to anyone, BEWARE (No luck with either battery)I have scrap metal/plastic here. I feel ripped off. I cannot get the battery off. I pushed on the release and oulled down as the instruction said, but it won't come off. A friend also tried and couldn't get it to release. I may have to send this back. Besides that, it is a lightweight sleek looking tool. I like that the bits come with it.

Just took this drill out of the box. In the item description it says it comes with 2 batteries, mine only came with 1 battery. The extra battery was a selling point and the reason I chose this drill, needless to say, I haven't even chart it up yet and I am already disappointed.

Works great

The switch on top to go from gear 1 to gear 2 slips in and out so you have to hold it in position, making it hard to use.It came broken, but i haven't had time to return it, making it a a loss of about $60. Do not buy this product.
