Zamberlan Women's 1996 VIOZ LUX GTX RR Leather Backpacking Boots

These are phenomenal hiking boots. They hug my feet all over and are very sturdy, maybe even a little bit stiff, but they are leather, so they will soften up. Beautiful blue leather.

Love these boots!! Finally found new hiking shoes after having my old ones for 20 yrs! They just don't make that brand like they used to, so I had to find a new pair to hike with. Zamberlan is the answer! I tried a few sizes and did end up sizing up one in order to put my arch support insoles in, because I pronate inward. I don't roll in and the ankle support is great too with these. I now have plenty of room for my toes,from sizing up, as I tend to splay them out, but still a beautiful snug fit on the heal. Fyi: the return process was easy for the ones that didn't fit! I expect these to last a long time too as the quality is superb! Size 8.5 womens Zamberlan normally 7.5w-8m depending on the shoe.

These are the nicest boots, I ever did see and I'm working to get them broke in and I put superfeet insols in and they fit perfectly. These will last a lifetime and I couldn't be any happier. Thank you Nikki Berry 💓

I tried on every hiking boot available at REI, Cabellas, Scheels and was constantly disappointed in the fit. Amazing that there are so many poorly made boots. This boot is definitely expensive but so worth the money. It hugs my foot securely and offer strong solid support with the tread. If you are going to do backcountry hiking and off trail, this boot is perfect. So comfortable!

boots are excellent, But after two weeks eye hook for laces snapped off.

I am really impressed with this boot, it was comfortable and easy to break in and I could wear it straight out of the box. I have had Zamberlan boots in the past and have always been happy with the fit and wear. I did buy this boot a 1/2 size smaller (I wear a 7 1/2 but bought a 7 womens) due to the great feedback on amazon from other buyers and the size 7 was a perfect fit for me. It is a solid but comfortable boot that is not overly heavy. Highly recommended.

I bought these in loden green color to wear in Paris. We walked everywhere... averaging about 11 miles a day. This is my third pair of 1996 VIOZ boots (also have red & brown/black). This particular pair fit perfectly right out of the box. I always upgrade the innersoles though. One day my feet were tired at the end of the day... but we'd walked 16 miles. This dedication to comfort over "style" paid off big time. My feet never hurt and I felt confident navigating the uneven streets and sidewalks. The green color is really pretty; the rocker sole is awesome... that tiny forward bounce you get saves a lot of energy step after step at the end of the day. Life is too short to live it in sore feet ❤️

I opted to give these boots four stars because I don't know how long they'll last as yet.. I tend to burn through a pair of boots every 1.5 - 2 years. I have worn comparable Asolo brand boots in size 10 and these do run just a tad big larger in the toe box. The leather is good, green color nice, and quality merits price. So far so good. A solid, supportive boot, that needs zero break in period.
