National HardwareN278-531 V7712 Wire Brad in Bright

This package of wire brad "nails" is a 1.75 oz plastic "snap" package like you see in the hardware store (see picture). There are a lot of nails in the package. The package in the picture is almost empty, but it comes full of nails.I tried to find these at my two local national chain hardware stores and they did not carry this size. I could get 17 Ga. in 1.25" length, but not in the 1.5" length. That last quarter inch mattered to me (doesn't it always...), so I ordered these on line. Unfortunately, I had no idea what size the package was when I ordered so I thought I would post a picture.As for the quality, well they are nails and they work well. They are relatively thin so they bend quite easily, but the points are sharp and they are uniform in color/luster. Overall, they work for me.

IF it were not for Covid19.... Another buyer's remarks - "get rich quick....sell nails on Amazon"...well, I believe, after receiving my whopping 2.4 ounces of "brads" that the other buyers commentabsolutely "nailed it"! Next time it's off to Home Depot where I can get stainless steel finishing nails for that price!

These nails are probably the biggest rip off on AMAZON which typically carries good value merchandise.The package for $5.48 is what you can buy at Home Depot or Loews for about $1.99.I thought for $5.48 I was getting more nails at a good price.The profit margin on this item has me thinking about selling nails on Amazon.My fault for assuming a quantity. Notice that nowhere in the product description is the number of nails mentioned. Why would they mention that. If they did who would pay $5.48.

I know nothing about nails they seem thicker than what I was needing but they’ll do for the project.
