These pucks are very generic and are the main ones you'll see everywhere. That doesn't mean they're the best or even very good. They're thick and heavy and don't glide well. Not on home tables anyway - maybe they're better for higher end tables. But the description specifically states these are for home tables. They don't necessarily "scratch" or "scuff" the table but you can definitely hear them scraping along the surface - which shouldn't happen.These type come in different colors too. I have some in red I bought years ago. So don't go only on color. You can tell more so from the ring around the lip of the puck. But even that's not always a dead giveaway. You really won't be able to tell until they're in your hand and they just feel wrong. Thick, heavy, gritty. Lots of sporting good stores carry these - as do many amazon sellers. Be careful.If you hear your pucks scraping you either need a better motor, whole new table, or a much cheaper alternative - lighter pucks.Buy sportscraft pucks. They're thinner, lighter, and glide MUCH better. I haven't had any problems with them. Stay away from these.
