Mi son love it, it doesn’t leave a dry felling, very refreshing and it actually works

Perhaps I am missing something because last time I checked skin was a human thing, and not a boy thing. The ingredients here are decent, and it works well. My hubby and I have both used this on small pimples. It clears them up quickly, and we like that it takes such a really small amount. Tube should last a long time. I don't love the smell, but I don't hate it, either. Good product overall.

Why this is targeted to boy's specifically is odd to me. It does not irritate my teen son's skin but it also doesn't seem to really do anything to stop or treat his acne. He doesn't have lots of pimples but has continued to have them develop despite using this product and those that he does have don't seem to be clearing up any quicker by using this product.

This acne gel has salicylic acid, a common and effective ingredient to help fight acne. However, the strength is not listed for this product. It also contains tea tree oil, another common acne-fighting ingredient. You can feel it sting your skin like other acne products, but it doesn't seem to be very helpful in fighting or preventing breakouts.

This gel has exactly the same ingredients as the version for girls and I don't understand why it is necessary to market this product by gender in the first place; that seems very silly. The primary active ingredient is salicylic acid, which will help with blackheads and perhaps even with mild cases of acne by removing dead skin cells and unclogging pores but won't kill the bacteria that cause acne as benzoyl peroxide does. It can also help reduce oiliness and since it's clear, can be used during the day.The clear gel has a pleasant natural fragrance of cloves, cinnamon, and tea tree oil. The tube is fairly small at 20 ml or 0.67 fl. oz. but a little is all it takes.
