Dayspring PensParker Jotter Ballpoint Pen - Waterloo Blue, Personalized Engraving, Ideal Gift Penwith Black Ink

I purchased these pens for my daughters going off to college. -I am a script person, I love script because it is typically an easy "fancy" font to read. However, in the size that it is on the pen, the spacing is very narrow between the letters and due to there being no blackening inside the letters, it is difficult to read. I would skip the script and go with one of the others; specifically Block. -- One might have difficulty with the Times font as it, too, is spaced very close together. - I am a jeweler and hand engraver, so I tend to see details that others would not. -- YOU may see the Script as perfectly lovely and fine for the purpose. ALSO, a VERY NICE PLUS... they can put the script in the direction of a Left-hander; which I am. - A small, but special option, not often offered. - Overall, I highly recommend the pens and the engraving. Great, inexpensive gifts, that are practical and may make the person think of you when they are writing with them. - I am hoping that is what my daughters do while at college. -- Even though they will probably be too busy to stop and ponder about their little gift from Mama... I will let that delusion of the possibility of them thinking of me; keep me comforted and happy. :D

This pen is great. It writes smooth and you can get refills! Couldn't ask for a better pen.

Excellent pen. The engraving was beautiful. I had to contact the seller for a small issue with delivery, they provided excellent service. Always answered my emails and kept me updated on a consistent manner. Would use this seller again.

Muy recomendable

I bought this pen for my husband & he loves it, especially with his name engraved on it. Writes smooth, easy to hold. Little skinnier than expected, about size of pencil, but he loves it so that's all that matters.4 stars instead of 5 only because it's smaller than thought it would be.

This is a gift, so the engraving is in someone else’s name, otherwise I’d provide a photo. It is beautiful and has a nice price point. I chose the script engraving; great font. Very happy to be gifting this. Additionally, it arrived a day early which was a pleasant surprise. Will not hesitate to gift-purchase for future recipients.

Worth the money, perfect for a gift.

I ordered same pens twice with different customized, the first one was great, the font size is same what preview showed. So I ordered a second as a Christmas gift for my family. Surprisingly, the second one came with smaller font size than the preview. The number of characters are even fewer than the first order, why the font size could go smaller? Not only the font size, the type of the pen is wrong, the order says it is gel, I received ballpoint pen. It is a Christmas gift, I guess I lost the chance to return it. Fine... just take it.I chatted with Dayspring about this couple days ago. I did not ask but I surprisingly received the replacement with correct font size and ink on Dec 24th !!!!!!!. so I updated my review from 2 to 5! FIVE STAR CUTOMER SERVICE!

After using this pen for half a day it failed to operate. It will not retract or it will not stay in the down position. I am still well within the usual return policy but it is Not returnable or replaceable. Save your $50.00 and go to a dollar store and buy a pen that is actually worth what you pay for.

I was a little concerned when I saw reviews saying that the engraving looked too faint; however, this was not the case. It was well done, and obviously visible. Looking forward to gifting the pen to my partner!
