I like these, price and quality. An earlier comment states they are too close to the tire but original ones were same distance. The strut is mounted solidly to the steering knuckle and turns with it, so unless you intend to change the profile of the tire from factory requirements I see no issue there. All of mounting brackets- sway bar link, brake line and anti-lock sensors were identical to factory application.The Sway bar links were good too, with grease fittings. The top , mount is solid and the spring firm. The mount, if you don't know, is also a bearing because the strut turns with the steering. 43 years in the field means I was doing this since before struts were used. I also have my own shop that's sole advertisement in 18 years has been word of mouth, and a well established clientele. To see Detroit Axle name makes believe it's a return of American Quality, and I'll surly be using them again.Tim the Mechanic

False advertisement as product does not match the description, and does not match the image on the box.I'm glad it worked for other people, but contact the seller before completely disassembling your struts, just to find that the new ones dont fit.

I own a 2015 Dodge Journey and as stated, in the headliner of this product, the struts will fit my vehicle no problem. Well I had my father, who is a mechanic, put them on for me and he didn’t notice anything wrong until I showed him this picture the next day. The struts were too short to the point that it literally sat on my tire. Thankfully, I didn’t wreck my tires that I had just put on brand new a month before this incident!! Be very cautious about the size of struts you get because these were at least an inch shorter than they should have been for my vehicle.

Easy to install. Work great. Great price. New springs make the vehicle ride nice and firm like it did when new. Got them in one day.

Excellent quality and very reasonable

These were junk. I installed them myself. The fit pretty good but they functioned terrible. I took my car to a professional mechanic of many years and after looking at them he said. Well they are no a safety problem but they are terrible noisy. They creak over bumps, they pop when I turn the wheel even the slightest little bit. I've had them about a years and they were junk right from the beginning. Don't buy these.
