cause they chew on them. I wouldn't recommend them for dogs with dental issues tho. These don't smell, either so that's all good.

take care with these..... extremely sharp pieces break off. My dogs both seemed pretty excited with these, but soon after giving them their first one I heard lots of sharp cracking, breaking sounds. When I checked on them I found several large shards of very sharp, thin pieces broken off. See attached pic of one. The top edges are very brittle and when they break off, they are like pieces of broken glass. I'd think you'd want to be very careful with them. Once they get down into the 'meat'of the hoof they are thicker and don't tend to snap off and present any issue. I am going to take a band-saw to the rest and cut off the thin, brittle tops before they get them again.Well, there was a pic before I edited this and now it's gone and I see no way to add it back :(

Kind of smelly but my dogs loved them.

Good quality Choo Hooves. My dog just loves these things. She is a small breed and it lasts her for months. I usually throw them out after a couple months. She is completely lost in them for a day when given a fresh new one. Only thing is, they smell pretty bad when new...luckily the smell does subside.

the hooves I received look nothing like photo, they are thin and break into small pieces that are choking hazards for a dog. I have purchased hooves before and these are inferior quality.

it's nice to be able to give my dog a safe treat that is also healthy for him. "gauge" loves them as a wkly treat!

Our dogs love them. Big and sturdy, they last our little guys quite a while! Much more reasonable to buy in bulk.

These hooves were incredibly smelly. My dogs didn't mind, but they stunk up the whole kitchen! They also broke into sharp pieces when my dogs chewed them, so I had to take them away.
