The wine red color is gorgeous. I liked this so much both for its appearance and for the soft fabric, that I planned to buy a couple more exactly like this in other colors. Then I asked my husband if he liked it. He said that the empire waist caused me to look slightly heavier than I usually do. I couldn’t see that when I looked in the mirror, but when I changed into slacks and a shirt I realized I did then look very slightly thinner. So if you want a dress that looks attractive and is comfortable, buy it. If you have our culture’s over obsession with looking as thin as you possibly can, you might not want an empire waisted dress that has a full skirt.The description said that it is machine washable, but the label on the dress says hand wash only. I plan to machine wash it anyway and hope for the best.

I wanted a comfortable little summer dress, and this is certainly that kind of dress. Unfortunately, it's just a little tighter than it should be. I used the size guide and bought a medium, which supposedly fits sizes 8-10. I wear size 8 tops, and it's almost tighter in the bust than I really want. If this were anything other than a comfortable little summer dress - and if my BF hadn't already complimented me on it - I would probably send it back and get a large. In every other way, it's just what I was looking for.The floral pattern is pretty and well-balanced, without being too much. The skirt itself JUST reaches to my knees (I'm 5'9").The waist seam is a little high, but I'm used to dresses with anything at the waist clearly being made for short-waisted women. The waist seam here is at about the level of my floating ribs.

I like this dress, but it ran a bit small for me in the bust, so it stretches the material and makes it sheer which I don't like. I wore a lite cover over it to minimize this, but I need to lose some bust weight for it to be perfect. Nice length and fabric. I am 5'5" 190 lbs.

The dress is comfortable and has pockets, which is a big plus for me. The fabric is lightweight but drapes well. The color was supposed to be red floral, but it was more of a bright reddish-orange with white flecks. (I supposed they could be considered to be an abstract floral pattern.) If the color had been more muted, like it was in the Amazon photo, I would have kept it. But it's just too bright for my large body, so it's going back. The fit was good, though, so maybe I'll try it in a different color.

I love these dresses. I keep buying more of them in different colors. They are very comfortable and nicely made. I wear them as a casual summer dress but can also dress them up wearing a belt and more dressy shoes and purse. As a plus they have pockets, I find that a nice detail. I am 5 ft tall and 120 lbs, size Small fits perfect. I love the length too.

Saw someone wearing this and bought one for myself. It is comfy, flows, and I love the pattern. However, where the side seams meet the waist seams there is something in the way it is stitched that just unbearably irritating to the skin. I am hoping whatever it is will soften with a few washings because I really do like this dress.

I bought the Green Leaf Lily at a fantastic sale price and it is a cute dress but I don't think I would like it for full price. The material in these dresses is heavy in feel but quite comfortable. I am 5'2", 116 lbs and the Med fits perfect although the "empire waist" is at my waist, just at or below knee length for me.

Read the reviews before purchasing this dress and ordered one size bigger than normal and it was a perfect fit! The dress is knee length and cute. Perfect for summer.

Sweet dress.. Fits well!! Was so flattering on my mom and she loved it so much I ordered her a 2nd one. Unfortunately she didnt get to wear it and the seller issued a full refund. A definite recommend from me!!!!!
