Who wouldn't like a sailing adventure in a green bathtub? Who wouldn't want to fight pirates and meet a sea monster? The whimsical, funny illustrations by Steven Kellogg are perfect for this charming, rollicking story by Margaret Mahy. The Green Bath is a joy to read aloud and what fun it is to look at the details of Steven Kellogg's paintings. Highly recommended.

We grabbed this at the library and based on the cover....it looked like a lot of fun! However, it was not a fun one to read and the story was fast, stupid and lacking quality detail and story. Really did not care for this book in the least.

My kids love anything that Steven Kellogg has worked on.
