Better than oven gloves.
Have used this type of oven cloth since I had a near disaster when using a pair of oven gloves. Much better to use this cloth. You can fold it to be as thick as you like and it is easier to use when lifting larger pans out of the oven.

Great heatproof cloth - but so big its a bit ridiculous. If you after a big one - dig in!

Perfect, much better than oven gloves
The existing oven gloves needed replacing. This was a perfect choice. Much safer and easier to use than conventional oven gloves. I'm glad I bought 2.
