This is what I wanted for keeping my purse handy and off the seat or floor. It does provide a strong “backstop”. A couple of things kept me from a 5 star rating: the pocket is not big enough to hold my purse inside and there is not much give to the mesh. It does work great for water bottles, snacks, phones or probably a cross-body purse (which mine is not).Very easy to change between vehicles.

I really like it, the only problem is that I have a somewhat wide purse and it's a little difficult getting it in and out of the thing. My purse not that big at all so I don't know how it would work if you carry a large purse but it works for me and it's out of the way for everyone else in the car.

This is a bit smaller than I expected, but very well made and fairly easy to install. Also it took weeks for delivery, but perhaps we're all spoiled by getting most things from online practically overnight. I would recommend it; it's just a bit smaller than I thought it would be. Does the job in the car, tho!

I hooked this up in my car between the seats and it’s perfect for when there’s someone in the passenger seat because that’s where I put the purse otherwise. Purse is handy - don’t have to reach into the backseat or put it on floor of passenger compartment. The only thing is that I wish it came in different sizes. My purse is really too large for it and I have to put it in sideways. Wish it were larger.

It fits nicely between the front seats of my Subaru Outback, and keeps my pocketbook anchored on top of the center console. I stuck a cube tissue box in the pocket, that may change with use, but fits for now. Be careful who you order this item from, go to the source not a secondary seller, they never delivered.

This is my 2nd time purchasing the car cache for myself and 4th purchase of the product in total. (I loved this product so much I purchased it for 2 of my closest friends.) My original car cache strap tore 3 years later it lasted from December 2019 until December 2022. I love this product so much that I immediately purchased it again! It makes it easier to access my handbag. It keeps your handbag out of the passenger seat or the back seat. The most annoying thing for me, for the weeks I didn't reinstall my new car cache, was awkwardly reaching into the backseat invading the passenger's personal space just to get something from my handbag. So do yourself a favor, if you don't have one of these, get one, you won't be disappointed once you get it installed and adjusted to your liking!

This actually works great with large purses as well. I wasn’t sure because there weren’t many pictures that way, but I have a tote bag style purse that I also purchased on Amazon and it always spills in my car but I actually hate purses with zippers because I’m lazy and easily annoyed lol this thing is great. It keeps my big purse right within reach nothing spills and my dog doesn’t bother it because it’s shielded from her in the backseat as well.

It came with no instructions or labeling of any kind, so I had to figure it out based on the item listing photos. Also, there was no string at the bottom to secure it to anything. I dug a shoe lace out of the junk drawer and used a drinking straw to thread it through the slot. It did the job, but I should not have had to this. Once in position it does what I wanted - holds my little purse up by the center console so I don't have to go feeling around in the back seat for it. Only knocked off a star for the lack of instructions and missing part.

Good for holding items If you need something out of your purse it's a bit awkward.

Great idea and I loved it when it wasn’t broken. The quality just wasn’t great. One of the plastic buckles snapped when the passenger seat was leaned back. And some of the stitching on the bottom (where the string ties to the armrest) came undone another time and needed to be re-stitched.
