Great instant chai
There are basically 3 notable brands of instant cardamom chai you can buy on Amazon. They're all awesome, and taste pretty close to the authentic thing .... far far more than what one would expect from instant chai!1. Jaipur - creamier but less strong cardamom - only comes pre-sweetened. My favorite as I like my chai creamy and sweet :)2. Nature Guru - slightly less creamy, and slightly more cardamom - but you can get it unsweetened3. Tea India Chai Moments - watery without added milk (for my taste) but really great strong cardamom. If you're going for the cardamom flavor this is the best of the 3 brands, but beware the cardamom settles after brewing and you have to keep stirring as you drink. Only comes pre-sweetened.

Absolutely Nasty!
I’m a heavy tea drinker, 4-5 cups a day. Loose tea, tea bags, instant tea, karak, masala, cardamom, you name it and I drink it. I usually order instant cardamom tea from another brand that’s twice as expensive, so I decided to try this brand based on price. This stuff is absolutely nasty. No tea taste, super strong and unpleasant cardamom flavor, weird orange/yellow color. Why is it so sweet if I ordered unsweetened? I tried to force myself but couldn’t finish a single cup. Threw the rest of the box away. I never write reviews, but just felt compelled to save another fellow tea drinker from whatever this stuff is.

Not chai at all!
I wanted to honestly give this product zero stars, but it wouldn't let me. If you are a chai lover, do not buy this! I can't figure out why it is even sold as a chai tea product, and even billed as "classic chai," it is not chai at all! The ingredients are as follows: Milk powder, black tea extract. It tastes like milk powder. There is also clearly dye as it is an ugly orange color. This is a misleading and frankly awful product. Don't bother, and don't waste your money!

Very Good Unsweetened Cardamom Chai
This review is for Nature's Guru Instant Cardamom Chai--Unsweetened, which comes with 10 individual serving-size packets of chai powder. This is a great chai for Cardamom lovers, because as the ingredients state, that is the only spice in this chai: "Milk Powder, Black Tea Extract, Natural Cardamom Powder." Please be aware that there are Unsweetened and Sweetened versions of this chai. I bought the sweetened type at a store, loved it, and then mistakenly bought the unsweetened kind on Amazon, not realizing it wasn't the same thing I'd bought previously. They are both good, but I definitely prefer the sweetened version, personally. And, for a reason I can't figure out, the sweetened variety actually has fewer calories than the unsweetened one! Sweetened = 35 calories per serving; Unsweetened = 45 calories. It isn't a big difference, but I just found that fact curious, especially since the ingredients list for the sweetened version is the same, other than the sugar: ("Cane Sugar, Milk Powder, Black Tea Extract, Natural Cardamom Powder"). Anyway, it is of course not Nature's Guru's fault that I ordered the wrong version, and this is still very good chai, so I gave it 5 stars. I just thought I'd point this out, lest someone else not realize that there are two different types. If you like a sweeter chai, then you may want to check out the sweetened version. But if you prefer a less-sweet chai and you like cardamom, you'll likely enjoy this. :)

The Vanilla Chai is the mildest in flavor of all the Natures Guru Chai teas that I have tried.
I believe this to be the MILDEST in flavor of all the Natures Guru Chai teas that I have tried. This one has a rich CREAMY vanilla flavor with very a mild chai finish at the end. So if you like a mild milky chia this one is for you. I personally found it to be soothing and tasty. Knowing it would be nothing like the Classic, Marsala or Cardamon Chai's Natures Guru offers. Each one of those has their own distinct flavor. All I have tried are very good. I think people purchasing this one might think it is going to taste like those I listed above , and end up disappointed. I like that is distinctly NOT like the other chai's offered, and something completely unique. So, if you like your Chai strong and flavorful this might not be for you since it is very mild and milky. I like the convent powder packets for travel & on the the go. The overall value and price point for this item is excellent. Oddly, I have discovered the safety seal on the boxes to be non effective on their packaging and doesn't seem to serve its purpose. Since all mine arrived with the box seal unbroken, BUT... it is too short and not large enough of a seal to actually be effective.( It was too small for the box). Other wise the contents of the box ( 10 packets ) where sealed and arrived unbroken. Very happy with my purchase.

Not my favorite chia tea
I decided to try this chai tea for the same reason so many others did: no sugar in the mix. It is also missing some other ingredients that I prefer NOT to have in my tea--or any other food, actually. That's the good side of this chai tea product. The other side, the not-so-good side, has substituted "black tea extract" black tea leaves and I really don't know why an extract, especially one that is barely evident. The taste of this ginger version of chai tea is very light on spices. I didn't want to be overwhelmed by the ginger--and I certainly was not—but I’d like to have the ginger a little more assertive than it currently is. According to the box, ginger is the only spice used in this version. Other chai spices usually found in chai teas are not listed nor are they evident by taste. I also added a small amount of raw honey because chai is not chai for me unless it has some sweetness. Bottom line, I really feel good about "losing" all those other artificial additives in the brand I was buying; however, the tea extract thing and lack of full-bodied seasoning has me wanting something more.
