True Weave Realistic Carbon Fiber CF-621 Hydrographics Kit MyDipKit - My Dip Kit

This is a great basic kit. For most, this may be a difficult process but it is not as difficult as it seams. You only have to use a VERY LIGHT dusting of the activator and give it a min to relax. Slowly dip your part at about a 30 degree angle, to avoid air bubbles, and enjoy the results. It is important that the part(s) be cleaned after dipping by running them under warm to hot water until you achieve a flat appearance. I have found that lightly rubbing them by hand while running them under water will work best and quickest. Let them dry and proceed to use the clear coat. I have found that the more layers of clear that is used the better the result. it seems to add the depth in appearance that real carbon fiber parts have. I just wish the kit would come with more clear as you run out way too fast for the amount of film that you get. For those getting started, read the instructions and follow them to a T to achieve the best results. though the pattern could use some better contrast to get it to look even more authentic, i am very pleased with the finished results. I have dipped several parts for my car and will be dipping about 20 more to get them to all match. Love this stuff!

Very professional kit with everything you need. Results were amazing even with a very difficult 3d object. Just make sure to watch a few YouTube videos for a good idea of what to expect for the dipping process.

Very uneasy to use. Used so much to figure it out and I'm a very handy guy. A professional mechanic and avid hobbyist. This stuff sucks. Ran out of the aerosols too quickly and the pattern is horrible. I've encountered A LOT of carbon fiber in my life and this looks nothing like it. It just looks like a blur. If you had it an inch from your face you might think CF but then you'd realize it's a blurry smudged ugly mess. I'm really angry I bought this. Worst 100$ I've ever spent and I've bought some dumb crap. Maybe if you had some colorful wild pattern it might look ok but be ready to go through a lot practicing and buy more primer, base coat and activator. I'd look for another option though. Terribly disappointed.

I bought this stuff through the manufacturer 5 years ago. There are reasons the bad review's got bad results. The blurry outcome is from have to large a container and the pattern spreads too far. I did 3 rails on my ar15, 1st one was blurry from thinking I got this. The other 2 came out perfect and exactly what I expected. I am going to order more and use it on my S&W M&P40. Not sure of pattern but using mydipkit for sure

I have used my dip kit in the past and it was good. This kit the film was all wrinkled on the roll, The Primer spray can has something clear in it??? and yes I shook the hell out of it. it was not primer, Film was very brittle like it dried out , for the money send your project to a pro dipper it will be money well spent .. dont do it , MY dip kit is not good

First package came damaged, finally second shipment was received. Do NoT recommend this product did NOt work

Would never dry correctly always went back to bare metal or plastic.
