Beautiful book, full of information, but a bit more recent information would have been good.

Very good book lots to read in it

A good description of the house before and after English Heritage has done the repairs to save this lovely building. The book goes into the details of the alterations that they have done, It also gives details of the people that have owned the house over the years.

Much better than just a picture book or a coffee table book. The house has had a very chequered and interesting history and is well worth narrating.The photographs are splendid, but, unusually, the text is also informative and interesting.

A good book, well laid out and well written, the photographs and information are first class
