Great value
Ultimately I returned these, however...These seem very well made for the price. Im usually on the larger side of 10.5 mens almost an 11. Most 10.5s fit - some a little snug. These came in at atleast an 11.25-11.5. They would have been passable as a barefoot shoe as I like a bit extra in the toe box. However the molded wrap over toe guard ended right where the tips of my big toes sat in these I just knew they would drive me crazy. If i sized down im not sure I would have had enough room. Ultimately the arrival coincided with a sale from another brand.Great inexpensive pair for a beater pair, or beginner barefooter before you plunge into more expensive shoes.4/5 initial review based on sizing. Build quality easily 5/5 on initial review. I would stay with a solid color pair as the ones I got were not as crisp as the pictures as far as design print.

Pleasantly surprised.
After one week of gym use, I am pleasantly surprised by these shoes. I bought these shoes as a gamble for my new barefoot / minimalist shoe. My previous barefoot shoes were New Balance minimis trail runners and Vibram Five Fingers trail runners. The NB were fine but broke down very quickly. The Vibrams were ok, but broke down with sole separation. They also drew unwanted attention and required too frequent washing.Quality / Construction: I am pleased (so far) with the apparent quality of these shoes. They seem to be made well. Minimal loose threads. The sole appears to be solidly attached to the shoe. All the stitching appears solid. The sole, itself, is reasonably thick -- in a good way.Fit: I wear a size 11 and I have very wide feet. These shoes fit right on the money. Plenty of room for my wide feet to splay out. I have worn with no socks and with very thin synthetic-material socks. Both fit fine. I plan to try slightly thicker athletic socks soon, and I think there will be plenty of room. The laces are thin bungee cord material, so you and get them as snug or as loose as you prefer. Although, it does take some trial and error to figure out what is tight enough without going too tight. My only slight concern with fit is that there seems to be a little bit of play in the heal of the shoe (unless you crank down on the laces) -- but I think this may be caused by using thin synthetic-material socks. I am hopeful that slightly thicker socks will solve this issue.Function:I only use these for weightlifting, not running. In the warmer months I will also use them for casual walking. So far, so good. The sole is slightly thicker than my previous barefoot shoes, and I like it. It is still a barefoot shoe. It is still a zero-rise shoe. But there is just a little bit more padding under the ball and arch of the foot. If you step on a pebble, it will offer more protection than a typical thin-soled barefoot shoe. For squats, deadlifts, etc., I prefer a flat foot. These shoes fit the bill. I feel like my foot maintains a solid attachment to the floor. There is a slight issue with the play in the heal. I'm not quite as stable as I would like when I torque my feet to "grab" the floor. But I think this will be addressed by slightly thicker socks. An added benefit, these offer better protection against wet surfaces compared to other barefoot shoes. With NB and Vibram's, I could not walk across a wet surface of any kind without water getting into the shoes. With these shoes, I can walk across pavement after rain and not worry about soggy feet. They're not waterproof, but the sole comes up and around the bottom of the foot to provide moderate protection against moisture.

Great replacement of my Merrells.
I got my first pair of these years ago when they were under a different listing. I've had Trail Gloves (IDK which gen), and gen 3 and 4 of the Vapor gloves and these are obviously made to mimic the Vapor 3's. My pair of Tesla's has held up since 2018 for my gym and running shoe. They were used primarily indoors and running on tracks, but that's a heck of a lifetime. None of my Merrells lasted this long, although they were used as dailies. After my last pair of those work out I tried the newest trail gloves and found arch support which was terribly uncomfortable after adapting to barefoot shoes. IDK why they changed the formula. Thankfully TSLA continues to carry the torch and does so much much cheaper. I just wish they would make an all black pair. The camo is the closest but I wouldn't want to wear them to work. That aside, they can have sketchy QC. My last pair that I used for years has one shoe labeled 10.5 even though its a 12. I ordered 12's again and they were clown shoes compared to the last pair. Returned and got 11's and they fit perfectly (just like my old 12's) Thankfully free returns made it stress free to have to reorder.I'll also mention that these are nicer than the Whitins that I've tried. Those had a heavy sole that made the super floppy when walking, and I had to try a couple pairs to get one that wasn't glued up at a funny angle. They looked more normal than these, but functionality wise they are way better. My plan is to continue to use these as my gym shoes, and get higher end shoes that look more normal the Icarus Ascent (whenever they release the black/gum) as my daily shoes. I've tried a couple other brands and feel like a wasted a ton of money on my vivobarefoots since the leather constricts my toes from bending even though the sole is great. I got some STR/KE Haze trainers and they look great but are also super constrictive (tight band up by the toes)I'll keep getting these TSLAs. Wish they'd branch out to some different models.

Ok
Very close to Merrell, will see how they feel wearing them in action. Quality is good, let's hope they last.
