These work. They are not super impressive. They do not stay real tight and tend to move to one side or the other if you leave them on while you cast. I had a bell fall off of one right off the bat. They do there job and for the price there performance is really is reflected. There definitely better then dealing with a clunky bell that just clips on that has to be removed every time you hook a fish or cast.

The concept of this product is on the right track,, it does have bells that jingle,, it does have a bright LED light,, it does clamp onto most rod tips. However,, the clamp screws down using a light plastic that can break, or strip the threads. Understandably the clamp can only be made just so strong as to not break the fishing rod, but I think there could be improvements made. Another improvement would be in how the bells are attached, so as for them not to come off simply by casting. The light also can be thrown off in casting, but the biggest improvement that could be made is to install an "on/off" switch. The current method of unscrewing the back of the light,, trying to pull the small LED battery holder out far enough to gingerly take out the batteries and turning them over to place back in so the light will come on,, is not an easy task, to say the least.It took some trial and error to find the proper position for clamping the device onto the rod tip without the line getting caught in it.But,, the bells do jingle to a bite (when they're still attached), and the LED light is bright and shows the movement of the rod tip (also,, when still attached).I'm glad this deal comes in packs of 20!

I have a similar product that straps on with a rubber band, but I like this clip much better. After testing them I bought 20 more. I turned one on and laid it on the bedside table. It burned continuously 24 hours a day for one week, then began to dim. it burned brightly enough to be very visible for another week. Today on the 15th day it's about gone. For about 60 cents each, just toss them. They take $2 worth of batteries. I calculate that you can fish all night for 42 nights with just one. Look out catfish and crappie.

I used these for ice fishing at nite with my tip ups and man did they ever work amazing they were well lit up every easy to see I had people asking about them from the other side of the lake there was 2 that didn't work but for the price im not complaining very happy with them will be buying more

These are awesome! A friend told me about them and let me use his clip-on ones. They were so good I had to buy some. Much better design with the screw on clamp vs the clip. Holds better on the rod. Do wish they were just a little bigger to to fit all rods. Or maybe look into making 2 different sizes. Great product and I highly recommend

I used them on my tip ups ice fishing. The bells are more than audible even inside of my insulated shelter. I turned on one of the LEDs about a month ago and it's still lit. Not bright anymore but lit nonetheless. They work well for tip ups at night.

They work pretty good. They hook onto the rod tip and can be screwed on snug. I can cast with it on but I've lost a few bells in doing so. One of the hooks broke clean off. Some of the batteries don't work. But otherwise, the light it bright and seems to last. The bells are sensitive, and none of it gets in the way of my line when reeling in.

Like the fact that they screw on but flipping the battery to turn on sucks, the battery is two pieces and separate and I drop them never to be found. Also a few lights don't work at all. But for the price deal with it, overall good deal
