Great company! They ship fast and as a new customer they actually followed up with me to see if I was satisfied, I am. Reduced the noise in my tumbler by half, and the results so far are amazing the angle on the ceramics is perfect for getting the medium in all those pesky crevices, pits and deep scores, buy a bag of the large ones, use it through the whole course then you have the smaller size for the next time.

I like the size of this media. The price is a bit higher than the competition's product. I've purchased a 5-pound batch of ceramic tumbling media from another seller, but the size is much smaller. This could prove to be advantageous, or it could just mean that they wear out that much faster. Time will tell.If the price doesn't scare you away, this ceramic media seems to be a very good product.

I tumbled my first batch of rocks without using any filler media, followed all the other directions as far as the correct amount of rock weight, water volume along with the grit/polish and went through all four steps allowing a week per step and didn't have good results. After further research I found out that filler media was needed so I purchased the above ceramic filler media for the first two steps. I also purchased some plastic filler media for the last two steps and had great results with the same batch of rocks the second time around! I wished I would have bought the filler media the first time around as the filler media helped with the grinding of the rocks making them smooth. Make sure you buy both ceramic and plastic filler media as you will need both for best results. The ceramic media is for the 1st and 2nd step and then the plastic media is for the 3rd and 4th steps of the tumbling process.

As a newbie rockhound, I've struggled with tumbling. This ceramic media made it LOADS easier, and my new attempts have yielded some pretty awesome results. I love that it can stay with the stones throughout the process, making it more streamlined and easier to approach.
