Pros: CD player works good.Cons: On/Off switch is a tiny slide switch on the back of the unit. When using the unit to listen to the radio you can't tell what station you're on. There is supposed to be a read out on the front but mine didn't work and it wasn't worth the time and effort to send it back. Volume control is on the back. Radio station control is on the back. All of the CD player controls are on the front but again, the labelling is tiny.It's not a total waste of money but it never occurred to me I'd have to get out a magnifying glass and go hunting on the back of the unit just to turn it on.

Returning the Boom Box. I can only manage to play one CD before it seems the player over heats and will not allow me to play a second CD. Also some CD's I have which play fine on my other CD player will sound very distorted on this CD player. Not good quality piece of junk. If I could rate zero stars I would.

So aside from an issue with a crappy postal carry who obviously cant read, I finally had an honest lady in my neighborhood to deliver this as it was left on her porch. I was pretty pleased with the sound. I wanted this for out by the pool and for cook outs andvitvwill certainly be loud enough for those purposes. Quality and workmanship in most products like this now days leaves alot to be desired unless you want to spend an absurd amount, but it is what it is. I am sure I will get plenty of use out if this.

I was tired to listening to my CDs on my computer, and wanted an easy way to play my music without wearing my headphones. This boom box was everything I was looking for...plus it's rechargeable using a USB cord (so no electricity or batteries are needed!). The audio is crystal clear, and I can not only play my CDs...I can listen to the radio as well! Best of all, I can also play songs from my iPod Touch or my cell phone. The CD player has an anti-skipping system, which is great. I love that this is portable, so I can move it from room to room...or take it camping or to the beach. The 90s are back! Get this boom box...you won't regret it!

I was excited about getting this because it would be smaller than the ancient boombox I was using to play my audiobooks I got from my local library.The radio sound is pretty good and the music CD's I played was pretty good too. However, the sound quality from the audio CD's was awful. It kept skipping and was very staccato sounding so I was not getting the full story. It was also very distracting. At first I thought it was sensitive to the tiny scratches that were on the CD's left by previous users of the audiobook. Then I borrowed a brand new audiobook that had absolutely no scratches whatsoever. I had the same sound problem.Also the volume adjustment and the buttons for changing from CD to radio were on the back of the unit. Not very convenient at all.I regret buying this unit and am really disappointed. I liked the compact size but unfortunately I can't use it for what I purchased it for.

Although the product description on Amazon and the insert in the package claim that the the fm station number will appear in the lcd window it does not. I am not willing pay to guess where the station I want to find is located. Returning.

The CD functions seem very good. What bothered me was there was no readout on the radio functions. You could not tell what station you were tuning in to. I sent them a email about this to see if I was doing something wrong. They never answered. I used the address shown in the directions. They promised a 2 business day response. It has been weeks. I know the email went through. I am uncomfortable about products that are not backed by customer service.

First one was damaged. CD sound had a click and I missed the "return window." But the VENLOIC customer service team contacted me. They said they stood by the product and got a new one out to me. It is perfect. It has great sound, all functions are easy to operate, and travels well. I'm listening right now. Great product and great company to purchase from. I am 69 and grew up with turn tables and component sound systems. This little players works great.
