I have been cutting my husbands hair for a very long time. I used to have one of those hoop things that you put around your neck and it is supposed to catch the hair clippings. It worked for a while and then I just ended up putting a big towel over him while I gave him a haircut. I bought this barber cape as the big towel was full of hair every time I cut his hair but most of the hair would go onto my husbands shirt. I saw this cape and figured it would be good. Well, it is very good! It is definitely large enough for an adult. My husband is 6 foot, 222 pounds and it fits over him fine. It is made very well and feels strong like it will last a long time. I would definitely recommend this cape for anyone that needs one.

It is exactly what it says it is, lightweight. Easy to fold back up and store. Perfect for our familys at home haircuts, Velcro is long enough to fit our four year old, a little loosely, but it still does it's job keeping the hair off the shoulders like we need even if it's a little roomy on the kids

Purchased to cut my husbands hair. We have had the cape for about a year and have used it every week. It has held up well. I wouldn't recommend for professional use, but it's great for minimal at home use. The Velcro closure is long enough to comfortable close around my husbands 19" neck, with additional Velcro to use if needed. It's long enough to comfortably drape over the chair and my 6'3", 250 lbs husband. The cape is very thin, and can snag easily if caught on things. Snag looks like a run in pantyhose.But honestly for the price, this cape has been perfect for the use and as durable to be expected.

I have been cutting my own hair, wife does the back, for a decade and this product is a necessity. For background, I have quite possibly the easiest hairstyle in the world to cut since it's essentially a mohawk: skin all around, short on top since I don't like hair touching my ears and I look ridiculous with long hair, trust me, I've tried on multiple occasions. I always sweat very easily...so, I skipped the barber's cape for years since I just expected it to make me hotter and then all the hair would just be stuck to my head.Well, self, ya dummy, hair being stuck to your head is still better than hair being stuck to your head and your entire self without a cape. This cape is basic, very basic, and that's all you need...though this one does come with a smiley face hair sponge that does better at clearing loose hairs than the brush that came with my razor set, so, that's pretty sweet.For measurement's sake, my neck is roughly 16" and I have plenty of slack left in the velcro so y'all thick necked folks out there should also be just fine.

I like everything i use to be high quality so I wanted to go to the barber shop to see what they use to get the same one, but was too lazy so i just ordered this one. Its really good quality not like one i purchased on wish previously that was made for a baby and was completely 'fly away' garbage. I was reluctant to write 5 stars on 'light weight' since its not as light as that -- but i dont think you want light in that way - this is a good weight, and the hair just shakes off. infact.. i'm gonna buy another one right now.

It does the job.... but don't know how long it will last. I color every month. My last Cape lasted years. This one is so thin, I'm holding my breath as to it's longevity. So I can't speak to that since it's new, but I am concerned and looking for an upgrade through my local beauty supply!

Since the pandemic, I’ve been giving my husband haircuts at home—I got this cape to go with other home haircut supplies. My husband hates when the hair gets on him and makes him itch—this cape is quite large, so it covers my husband well to keep the hair off of him and his clothes. It’s soft and so it’s comfortable around his neck. It has a Velcro closure at the back of the neck. When I am finished cutting his hair, I just put it into the dryer for a couple of minutes on air dry, and the hair comes off easily. It folds very compact, which is nice because it fits into the case with my clipper set to keep everything organized until the next cut.I like this cape; it’s better than others I have had in the past, and I do recommend it.I write honest reviews to help others make informed purchases because I read reviews myself and appreciate how helpful they can be.
