It looks real - I put it on the corner of my house in the flower bed where a (gently) cross winds happen and the heron just looks sooo cool - it looks classy, and is something to proudly put in your yard. It wouldnt be cool right in the front yard, this is the type of thing you put in a flower bed or a garden so it looks like it is an environment where it is actually doing something.I actually had to buy a second one, I broke the first one when I was cleaning with my high power leaf blower and the poor heron tried to take flight. I was so bummed I imediately ordered a new one.

Only a little bit of a breeze sends this bird spinning and bobbing. It seems like it will be too flimsy but it has held up to very strong winds. Love it!
