2005 acura mdx worked like MAGIC!
So I've done many oil changes on the Acura and one day i do it and the threads come out of the pan with the bolt.... i was going to change the pan... put someone told me to try this.. Well guess what it worked amazing!! super easy and it felt like brand new.

This oversize plug can prevent an oil pan replacement.
This worked great! My 2006 Honda Pilot oil drain plug was stripped. I was about to replace the oil pan but decided to try this first. It’s difficult to install - make SURE to start the plug straight. It took about 45 minutes - insert for a quarter turn, back out, wipe the plug to remove shavings, insert a half turn, back out . . . Repeat until you have fully inserted the plug to its limit. I used the old oil to flush out any remaining shavings. I didn’t use the included washer. Instead, I used a new Honda OEM aluminum crush washer. No leaks and the plug tightens properly. I may still replace the oil pan. I have read that some places won’t change oil on a vehicle with an oversize plug. However it was an oil change store that stripped it!

Won't solve your problem!
Dont buy if you have a 14 mm drain!. It is impossible even introduce the tip. Its way oversize! may be 15.5 mm what made impossible fit in my Honda Civic aluminum pan.

too big for a 2019 vw atlas se
quality bolt but a little big for 3.6L atlas se oil pan, gonna try the single oversize and hope that works

This Plug is oversize.
This plug is truely oversize. Why they can not tell you the actual dimensions in the specification, I do not understand. I wish it was 15mm or so longer also. Providing a tap to enlarge and recut the threads would have really helped, probably would sell for $50 if they packaged that.

Bolt worked great!
I just installed this bolt last night on my 2012 Honda Pilot.it was a bit of work as the oil pan in made of steel, but it worked and very happy with my $6 fix vs $450 my mechanic wanted (who also caused the issue).

This will fix your leaking drain plug!
This is exactly what you're looking for if you have a drain plug that has gotten stripped. It's super easy to install. Just drain the old oil and slowly tighten this bolt in place. It will rethread the hole while you're tightening it down. Don't let anyone tell you to take this to a mechanic to fix it. You can do it yourself!

Perfect stripped thread solution
Perfect solution to a stripped oil pan drain thread. Use the single oversized before the double. Also, you should torque to 30 ft/lbs (meaning you need a torque wrench). Using this will help stop future thread stripping (..even prevent in the first place)
