I've been doing a lot of Zoom meetings. I really prefer the video quality of my DSLR but the battery drops out around40 or 45 minutes. This runs my camera as long as I want. I power it with a 2 amp Apple cube charger. Works great.

Great product works as intended. Which is all you could ask for in video production.

Amazon would like me to rank the product's warmth and sheerness. So I should say what I bought was a battery shaped power adapter to allow one to power a canon SLR from a large backup battery designed for recharging phobes via USB (type A). Now battery included. I can say the power works and it fits in both my canon d60 and d80.. It is similar to devices that allowed you to power your camera from a AC outlets I bought it in case I need to video for a long time. And maybe I might try a timelaspe Have have tested it, but I cannot speek to how dependable it is. I give it 4 stars because it does what it claims,.but it seems fairly cheaply made, thin plastic, thin wire, flimsy strain reliefs. If I were a pro and really needed this thing a would have a plan B. One might assume you could use this with a USB phone charger directly. In my case this worked with the charger from an old galaxy S5 phone, but I noticed my D60 had some issues. However, your meant to you a battery, so that is not a defect. Could by the old phone charger is too noisy or more current is needed.

Only a few weeks into using this product it blew up!!! (See photo)It is very picky about batteries - would not work with most of my batteries and none of my plug-in usb power supplies.

This Product is flawed. I have Canon 5D Mark III and Canon 80D. With the 5D Mark III this product will work the problem comes with the voltages in the stepup. It do not keep the Voltages at the 8v. For example when you press the shuttle bitten the shuttle is not opening and closing like it supposed to. This results leaves the photo with bad lines as if your camera is broken. I put in the battery and camera works fine. I also tested this by doing a burst shot the device totally cuts off. I have enough power in my battery power bank. I also tried with usb wall charger that supplies quick charge to cellphones.This Product works ok when shooting video on 5D Mark III I did not test it long just quick test as I mainly shoot video on my 80D..Canon 80D video works as it supposed to. I took several photos with the 80D and it seems to work ok. This Product is my second one as I thought I received a broken one.I will keep this one just to do video work on Canon 80D.If anyone knows a better product that will work with Canon 5D Mark III please let me know.
