This stuff acutally works!!
As lots of dog owners know, getting rid of skunk smell is difficult at best. This product works better than any other that I've tried. Your dog only needs to be wet with it for 5 minutes (other products take 15 or more) which is important when your dog weighs more than half as much as you!! It smells fine, and it works so very well. We have a fair number of midnight baths at our house in the summer, and this product makes it possible for me to get back to bed while it's still night! Thank you, Natures' Miracle!!!!!

Best product for skunk stink!
Apply Natures Miracle on wet skunk stink, wait 5 mins and shampoo your dog. It’s the best neutralizer that we’ve found. No tomato juice or Dawn and hydrogen peroxide! This is all you need. In fairness, you’ll need a lot. I keep two bottles on hand at all times. My dogs are dumb…. They haven’t learned yet!

Buy This As A Precaution!
READ THIS REVIEW:This product works pretty well, but there are several things you should know, first.1. Buy this to have on hand before you need it if you live in even a semi-rural area. You don't want to make a midnight run to Wegman's if your dog gets skunked.2. If your curiously stupid dog gets sprayed, like mine, wipe the affected area off as best you can with something absorbent to remove as much spray as possible before moving on. Old tshirt, a towel you'd never hang in your bathroom if company was coming, whole roll of paper towels, etc.3. F your dog up with some dawn after you wet him down - the oleophobic nature of dish soap will loosen the spray off the skin and coat since it is oil based.4. Apply this product liberally at full concentration and let it sit on the area for 5-10 minutes.5. Rinse dawn and nature's miracle off of dog.6. Repeat steps 3-5 if your dog still reeks. You can use pet shampoo after the NM is added if you like, as per the bottle's instructions. If your dog has short and fine fur you may only need one or two washes. If it's long and thick or it has a double coat, you'll likely need more.Your dog should be normally smelly at this point. There is a more effective method of applying a mixture of dish soap, baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, and water, but if you're not in the mood to play Jr. Chemist, this is your next best option.Lastly, if you're fortunate enough to know where the skunk sprayed your dog, hose the ever loving bejesus out of it into the soil because that SoB will go roll in it the next day. Like mine did.

WORKS! Buy it before you need it!
Desperation squelched my skepticism. Anyone who's dealt with skunk spray will understand. One of my dogs needed out in the middle of the night, she barked at a movement in the dark, my other two more intrepid dogs sped out of the house and before I knew it I saw three tail silhouettes where there should've been two. I know I woke the neighbors cursing and trying to get them to leave the dang skunk without leaving the safety of the doorway. Longer story short, the only way I could keep them away from the skunk was to block off the kitchen and bring them into the house. I bathed them each twice using a peroxide mix. It helped a lot but did nothing for the lingering smell in literally my entire house. I ordered four huge bottles of Nature's Miracle Lavender hoping the reviews weren't exaggerating. The next day I had an appointment and the nurse could still smell the skunk on me despite multiple showers in a completely different part of the house. So I decided I couldn't wait for the delivery and picked up some Nature's Miracle from a pet shop on the way home. I did a quick wipe down of every hard surface in my kitchen using undiluted Nature's Miracle. The Lavender scent was really strong, but obviously anything was better than SKUNK. When I was done I hung the wet handtowel I'd used on a baby gate and aimed a fan at it, hoping to push the stinky air through the wet towel. Just that quick, half-a**ed wipedown (I was sore from washing the dogs lol) along with changing my a/c filters, running the central air fan, and airing out the house did the job! I know how well it worked because when I opened a closet door the nexy day I was smacked in the face with skunk smell again, and I also caught a whiff when I bent down to pick up something off the kitchn floor and caught a whiff apparently from a spot I'd missed. So now I have the four full bottles I ordered from Amazon, a completely full bottle from the pet store, and a more than half-full second bottle I'd bought from the pet store. This stuff works and it doesn't take a ton of it for hard surfaces. Oh I also used it in my laundry for a few loads just to give the laundry detergent enzymes some extra oomph. Bonus: none of my cabinets, my clothes, my tile floors, the laminate countertops, or the stainless steel fridge were harmed or discolored by the Nature's Miracle. I really can't recommend this enough. If you have dogs and see wildlife in your yard once in a while, you NEED to keep a bottle on hand.

Just ok
My dog got sprayed through the fence so wasn't a direct hit like first time. Only hit side of her face. This product help a little. Did not eliminate odor completely.

Saved us!
Our little dachshund mix grabbed a skunk and it of course sprayed her in the face. She came in the house and rubbed her face and head all over the carpet. So I bought some of this and put some in my small Bissell carpet cleaner and used it on the carpet and also washed the dog. Worked well in both instances!

Super effective
Our dog got sprayed by a skunk last night. Luckily had this on-hand, it worked great. Husband got our dog into the shower almost immediately, used almost the whole bottle of liquid. She smells fresh as a daisy this morning!

Removes skunk odor better than anything else we have tried over the years
It really works. We’ve tried all the other home remedies and washing the dog with this stuff is the only thing that rapidly takes skunk smell out. Follow the instructions on the bottle and you can skip the dawn/peroxide/baking soda nonsense. We always keep a huge jug of this stuff on standby just in case our pups have unexpected encounters with Pepe LePew.

Not a miracle, but does help
Have had to use it twice. Dog has not learned to stay away from skunks. Have a small dog (Boston Terrier), and it takes the whole bottle. There is still some residual smell for a week or so, but does really help.

Removes almost all of skunk odour/oil residue
We’ve never tried any other skunk odour removing product so we can’t compare but the reason we only buy this one is because it works. 3 times now our pup has tried to catch us a skunk for dinner and we used this shampoo to remove the odour and the oily residue the skunk spray leaves on his fur. I have to say this products works best when you actually follow the directions. Our dog is large (90lbs) and we use one bottle per treatment as you don’t dilute it. I would say there is a tiny residual skunk odour after his bath that goes away after a day or two, which is fine with us compared to if we didn’t have it. So we always keep some on hand.

If your dog chases skunks this is the product for you!
This product is an essential part of our de-skunking regime with our high prey drive rescue dog who gets skunked multiple times every summer! Highly recommend.
