Great set, beginning to translate my tricks from my flower sticks. They are slippery, but as the main stick heats up it becomes tacky. I've used them for several hours and the wicks etc have held up well.

Good quality stick -- not for beginner devil stick users, but good for beginner fire-stick users.
The devil stick is a nice polished aluminum; it is slick, but no slicker than other (non-fire) sticks that I've used. The lightweight of the devil stick makes for easy helicopter spins and propeller spins. I've used devil- and flower-sticks quite a bit, so I am not necessarily using this to learn new tricks. That's what practice sticks are for.The wicks soak up the fuel well and burn for a good time.The handsticks are thick and sturdy. I don't see breaking to be much of a concern with these.As for the bag, I wasn't planning on using it too much, but it's just barely big enough to squeeze the wick heads into. I use wick covers to keep soot off my other gear, and they won't fit into the bag. I'd be more concerned about the bag's overall length if I had planned from the beginning to use it. As it stands, I'll probably just use it to carry another stick.

Dube juggling fire devil stick is better
Ive been a fire performer for 30 years. Sometimes Ill buy something just to test them. This is not the fire devil stick anyone should buy. If you want a great fire devil stick go to Dube Juggling. Reason.... you cant make a fire stick with an aluminum tube and use rubber coated hand sticks. The fire on both ends makes the aluminum tube hot. It makes it so hot that you dont want to use it for baton twirling bare handed. I do both I like to use my devil stick also as a twirling baton. Also the rubber on the had sticks gets soft from the heat of the tube. The hands sticks that come with this pair of devil sticks is also to short. IF you wanted to use this just as a devil stick its fine. Overall Ill never use this stick waste of money

Don’t pay extra for the “travel bag”
The sticks seem fine, but the “travel bag” is nothing more than a glorified onion bag. Transportation of the sticks is rather important. It’s made of a flimsy sort of plastic-like material, and the attached convenience pouch for your wallet and keys does not exist. This doesn’t feel like a bag in which you should put something that has been soaked in flammable liquid. I ordered this particular set because I don’t have time to make a bag. It looks like I’m making a bag after all. I want my $10 back.
