I wanted a reasonably priced camera that would record and photograph any movement in my backyard. The camera setup took me about 30 minutes, because I like to read all the details for the settings and modes. I think it can be done faster though.I really like that you have the mode choices of recording video, taking photos, or the combination of both. I selected both as this allows me to get still shots as well as movement. The camera menu is easy to navigate and the selections are easy to understand. Again, I used the manual as a guide for my choices while I was doing the setup. Altogether I was able to setup and install the camera in under an hour. As for installation, the only thing I didn’t like was the buckle on the mounting belt. It feels a bit flimsy, but it gets the job done.As with most consumer electronics these days, you will need to purchase an SD card and batteries. However, I didn’t expect that a wall charger (power adapter) would NOT be included with the USB cable. Although, I don’t find this to be a big deal since I have USB charging ports in my home, my car, and at work. The camera does not have wi-fi capabilities either, so be prepared to hook it up to your computer via USB to transfer your videos and photos.If you want to take multiple extended videos in lengths of time like 5-10 minutes and at a high resolution, you’ll need more storage on your SD card. The example they give in the manual is, if you set the resolution to 1920x1080 and a video length of 10 seconds, you can record about 58 minutes of video. If you lower the resolution to 640x480 with a video length of 10 seconds then you can get 203 minutes of recorded video. So the larger the SD card storage capacity is the higher quality and longer videos you can get. Same goes for photos. Since I want higher quality and longer videos, but still want to be economical, I chose a 64GB SD card. There are so many choices Nd combinations in the settings that you should definitely be able to find the setup that suits you.I have the video resolution set at 12 MP (1920x1080) and the photo resolution set the same. To begin with, I selected to snap 3 still photos and record 30 seconds of video each time the sensors picked up any motion. I’ve uploaded a video so you can see what it looks like with these settings. I didn’t catch anyone on video during the night, but I’m pretty sure my dog activated it this morning. I suppose he wanted to show off all the toys he has laying around the backyard. Side note: It was below freezing the entire time I had the cam setup. So, no issues for me with below freezing temps!All-around, it’s a solid little camera. I may purchase a couple more to cover my entire yard instead of forking out hundreds of dollars for security cams.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  The size of this camera is one of the best features,IMO.Easy to hide. Instructions furnished are clear and complete. So far, just used it to catch rat traffic at night in my garden and it fulfilled that purpose very well . Only takes 4 batteries .The one I had before was twice the size ,took 8 batteries, no viewing screen, and it was a guessing game to set it up properly.... The small viewing screen makes the setup really easy and allow for viewing/ deleting without hooking it up to a computer . I, definitely, would recommend it to anybody looking for an easy to use/compact and affordable trail cameraAfter trying it out in our back alley, I was able to see how big is our nightly visitor

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Wow...I never actually knew that a wildlife cam like this would have such an amazing video clarity. The setup was fairly easy and when I set up the camera to film movement, it did just that. I caught some amazing pictures and videos while I was away from home. I didn't get a chance try this at night time to see how the clarity was taking pictures or video in the dark but that will be my next endeavor. There are many different settings that can be adjusted to get the best experience out of this nice little wildlife cam. Overall, I know I will be using this quite a bit now and am eager to see what I eventually catch on video. I can see it would be good to monitor what is lurking around the house whether it be at day or night. I can't see going wrong with anyone looking to purchase an inexpensive wildlife cam like this. I have previously purchased an action cam from Campark and this Wildlife cam is great quality just like my action cam.

I got this camera and used it for a week. It was pretty easy to set up, and took some great pictures.I swapped out cards and put the camera back into service. Checked it a week later, and it had NO PICTURES.Turns out the the camera will not use a card formatted with NTFS. It needs FAT32. The working card was FAT 32. The second card was NTFS.A lot of complaints about this camera (Campark Small Trail Game Camera-12MP 1080P HD Wildlife Waterproof Scouting Hunting Camera ) involve problems with the SD card. After some testing, this is what I have found:1. Do NOT use a card larger than 32 GB.2. DO use a class 10 SD card.3. The camera will NOT recognize a card formatted with NTFS.4. The camera WILL recognize a card formatted with FAT32.5. If you format the card using Windows, format it as FAT32.6. To be certain the camera will recognize the card, format it IN THE CAMERA7. to format a card:1. Turn camera OFF. Move slider to OFF.2. Insert card3. Move slider to standby position4. Push the top left button (Menu)5. Scroll down using the middle button on the RIGHT side. (the middle button on the LEFT side scrolls UP)6. When FORMAT MEMORY CARD is highlighted, press the OK button (Top Right)7. Press the scroll up button (the middle button on the LEFT side scrolls UP) to highlight YES8. Press OK9. Purchased this for friends who's cat went AWOL. They wanted to see if the food they left out was being eaten by the cat or some other outdoor critters. After setting it up, we tried to look at the video on the small LCD screen on the device, and it was so grainy and dim as to be about worthless.Then we tried plugging it in to their PC, and the picture was beautifulSo...the built in LCD is good for double checking to make sure camera is aimed right. But DON"T expect to see anything really clearly - instead plug it in to PC (or I suppose MAC) and view and/or copy there.

送られてきたものを早速使おうとすると、人感センサーの不良と思われるが、感度設定に係わらず「常時感知状態」になっており、ショットラグの設定間隔ごとに撮影されてしまう不良がありました。目の前で物が動いてなくても撮影されてしまう状態です。野外でハンティング目的で使おうと思っていたので、これでは困るので説明書に記載のカスタマーセンターにメールで問い合わせ。上記を説明し、「SDカード内にショットラグの設定間隔ごとの撮影画像が入ってしまってる状況」が分かるようなスクショ、その画像データをメールで送ったところ、同製品の新品を、新しく送ってくれました。不良品の方は、返送の必要はなく、手元に残してよいとのことでした。新品の方は、室内チェックしたところ問題なく人感センサーが機能していました。交換でなく、新品を追加発送してくれたので、手間も少なく満足な対応でした。不良品の方は、一定間隔での撮影としては使えそうです。

雨や霧で濡れたりするとレンズに水滴が付いて上手く写りません。ＳＤカードは32Ｇまでしか使えないので、カメラを設置して野生動物の撮影をするにはＳＤカードを頻繁に交換する必要があります。今のところ２週間に１回交換して、交互に使用と撮影データの確認を繰り返しています。空撃ちの無駄な撮影時間を考慮して64Ｇまで使えると安心して長期間放置出来るのですが少し残念です。

トレイルカメラは総じて同じ性能性質で動物だけではなく、家庭での使用でもとても使い勝手がいい。これまで、いろいろな種類の防犯カメラを購入してきたが、今の所、一般家庭で使うにはこの種類がもっともいいと思う。特に、これは小ぶりで更にいい。　この種類のカメラの利点は静止画のみに対応していること。それによって、長期間、放置しておけること。家庭の電源に接続すれば、無期限に設置しておけること。

駐車場のいたずら防止用に買いました。昼夜問わず質の高い画像で満足しています。ただ一点、夜間の暗視用LEDが幾つか点灯しません。故障なので交換してもらおうと思います。
