Make sure your phone is actually compatible with this!
In order to use this type of adapter, you have to make sure your phone has a built in DAC in the USB C port, other wise you will have no audio. But this worked perfectly for me! Using a Google Pixel 2.

It works on Google Pixel 2
Works great with Google pixel 2 phone and is exactly what I needed!Realize that you will still need the ear phone adapter that came with the phone because you will need to use it to connect this peice to it. I'm happy with it though because now I can listen and charge at the same time. I hate that phones are being made without the earphone plug now days and although I like my phone, I will never get one with out the ear phone plug ever again. These adapters get lost too easy and are too expensive to keep replacing!

Has not held up and not up to standard
I'm not sure what I was thinking buying this one exactly but let me start with the positives;+Sound quality+Ease of use with (pixel 2 xL)And now the negatives:- already barely strung together falling apart and a white wire already fell off? Not sure what it was for...--doesn't always charge and play music in combination sometimes it gives a screeching noise-- not cheap and hadn't lasted but a month or two (generous)of rarely using---does not transmit microphone or any audio^^biggest con for me since I speak to my phone all the time I literally have to unplug and replug...Sounds relatively decent but for this price it should hold up better definitely. Would say pass if you were looking at something at this price range.

Solves the problem!
The removal of a headphone jacks from today's phones creates an annoying problem, one where you have to make the choice between charging or listening. But this little device solves the problem nicely, and I can both charge my phone and use my headphones again.

Good accessory for my Pixel 3
Works as advertised. I can charge my Pixel 3 and listen to the USB C earbuds at the same time. Earbud controls are not affected, and I can't really notice a difference in terms of audio quality when comparing against the straight earbud connection. Only drawbacks seem to be cheap construction (hope they last) and no fast charging, but I'm used to that with non Google accessories.

ive never had any issues with it and its worked great. theres no difference in sound quality and its so small i can keep it in my pocket with my earbuds

No headphone jack, no point. DO NOT BUY
Do you want a dongle bc you need a headphone jack and also want to charge your phone? Don't buy this one. IT DOES NOT HAVE A HEADPHONE JACK. yes, thateans you'll have 2 dongles hanging from your phone and you'll feel just as Stoopid as that is. Whoever created this product is a horrible person.
