Women's Cotton Hanging Travel Organizer

Last year, I searched for what would be the best design in a personal hygiene travel kit for me, and then bought a pretty and inexpensive one. It didn't hold up. I kept it hanging in my home bathroom every day so that I could make sure it included everything I needed, and was there for spur of the minute take-off. (Most of my husband's and my loved ones are scattered around the country.). Maybe that constant use weakened it, but it's the way I wanted to use it. This spring, I upgraded to Vera Bradley. I enjoy the colorful prints and plains that come with VB, and I appreciate how well built the VB bags are. I think I should have bought one in the first place.

I bought the hummingbird park print and it’s a nice bag and very similar in style to my previous Vera Bradley bag but there are a couple of things I’m not sure I’ll like. First, I thought the background colors was more of a white or cream color but it’s actually more of a light blue or grey. It’s ok just not what I was expecting. Also, they’ve put reinforcements in the bag I assume to help keep it sturdy but it makes it inflexible. I loved the fact that I could roll my old bag up and tie it. It held so much stuff. This one doesn’t feel like it will roll. It just feels stiff. I’m hoping that changes as it gets worn in.Update: after using this I can tell there is no way it will hold what my old one held and that's disappointing. It's a pretty bag and well made but just not as good as they used to be.

This is my third purchase of this product. I have given two as gifts and I bought one for myself. It have used it many many times and it still looks like new. Holds lots of beauty supplies and has a convenient hook so you can hang it and see all your supplies at once. Great product. Well made.

I love this bag. I looked and looked until I found this functional style. I can store all my toiletries, brushes, makeup, lotions and cleansers in a lovely print bag. You can fold it or roll it to fit inside your suitcase or backpack. The quality of Vera Bradley is excellent. Best of all, the hanger on the top keeps everything at eye level and handy to reach.

Needed this for storage and travel. It is of better quality than what I have found in drug and stores like Target. The different pattern options make it a pleasurable experience to pick your favorite.

It is perfect ! I travel a lot and I had a cloth hanging bag similar to this one, however, it was extremely worn from years of travel and I couldn't bear throwing it out until! I found the perfect replacement, so I held it together using duct tape ! Thank you for sending such a beautiful bag.P.S would you consider lowering the price a bit ?

AMAZING!!!!! So glad I purchased this! SO much room for all the travel essentials and then some! Great quality-I know girls who have had their Vera Bradley organizers for years and years. This pattern is very pretty too! (P.S. A few dollars cheaper here on Amazon than on Vera Bradley website)

This is a must have for anyone looking for a good all around travel bag! I have had mine for a year and just bought my daughter one. She loves it too.

The shipment was delivered today – 29 January 2019Specifics re Quality Issue – Toxic Smell1. When I opened the package I noticed a slight smell, but assumed that it was related to packaging materials/chemicals used in transit from China.2. I very gently hand-washed the Travel Organizer, using lukewarm water and a very mild liquid soap – and let it sit in my main floor laundry room tub for 30 minutes. I drained the tub & refilled with cool water, very gently squeezing the fabric to remove residual soap. At this point I noticed a strong chemical smell (the toxic “black plastic, made in China” smell – I called out to my husband (thinking he had purchased & opened some black rubber/plastic or electrical product from a hardware store). He had not. The smell permeated the laundry room. After washing my hands 3 or 4 times, it still was quite noticeable – to my husband as well as to myself.3. I did not want to hang this horrible-smelling product in our house to dry (and it is much too cold to hang it outside). I am not prepared to ship it wet, in kitchen garbage bags, to Amazon. I have thrown it out – double-bagged in tie-closure kitchen garbage bagsUPDATE: rather than throw this product out, I am returning it (after hanging it to dry in a contained area, within our basement storage area). This type of material does not belong in landfill either.4. I called Vera Bradley customer service at (888) 855-8372 to report this directly to you and I will be posting a straightforward, negative review on Amazon to alert other potential customers about this particular product (I personally believe that it is related to the predominantly black dye in the fabric).FOLLOW-UP REQUESTED:Please follow up with your manufacturer’s supply chain - I’m assuming that this is a bad dye lot which has been contaminated. I have had something like this that I used for years, until its death. I have spent a long time trying to find another one. I love this. It is lovely, well made and just as I expected....Well worth the money!
