Excellent overview of Shojo Manga. I recommend this for anyone who thinks shojo manga are innocuous and vacuous. Well done.

I bought this book for my dissertation work and it has been one of my main texts. I was really impressed by the content as a third year English student at university. The cover does it a disservice as it appears quite childish whereas the content is really mature.
