Different Shade (Amended 2024)
I've had these a while now, I didn't open them up straight away so a tad disappointed when I did.As you can see in the pictures the shades of black are totally different!I would have thought even if the shades do differ a bit someone packaging these up could have a least tried getting a close matching pair!I'm gonna fit them anyway & hope eventually they will end up the same colour! Also, the tan wall colour is lighter in real life than the picture shows, also lighter than in my picture!Only awarding two stars for these because of the colour, I revisit this after I've used them for a while.06.01.24 - Amendment: been meaning to update this for a while. The colour variation evened itself out after a few months. over the last 3 years, this tyre has performed very well indeed. I would buy again.

Good roll speed and grip off road and on tarmac
Tried these on a new Boardman MTB. Gone Tubeless with these. Not a hardcore mountain biker but do mixed road and track cycling. These work well off road with good grip on loose surface but compared to previous use of Schwalbe Hurricanes they grip much better on tarmac allowing more confidence in the corners. More expensive but pleased with the purchase.

Poor product
After using twice as tubeless set , front wheel failed above beading as per photo around 30psiThis resulted in loss of control and heavy road rash.(front wheel down hill crash)I pumped this up with a tube inside so you can see the problem. This happened in more that one location

Low noise and resistance at the cost of grip
I mistakenly purchased one of these tyres under the impression that they were sold as a set, which they are not. Priced at 40 euros each, they are quite costly, and my expectations for their performance on both road and gravel were high. While they handle well in a straight line or during braking, I've noticed that on smooth gravel, their cornering ability is compromised. The knobs fail to provide sufficient grip, increasing the risk of the bike slipping from beneath you.Nevertheless, they seem to serve well as hybrid commuter tyres, despite being pricier than I would prefer.
