Rhode Island Novelty 8 Inch Rubber Stretch Chicken, Set of 12

Bought these for a family party. They were smaller than I expected, but adequately sized for the game we played. Kids loved them!They are durable and took many abuses by children and pets. None of them broke despite repeatedly being thrown against a wooden backboard, getting stretched by kids, and chomped on by dogs. They are elastic and can be flung like a slingshot.Tip: When you get them, they will smell strongly like industrial plastic for a few days. Let them air out before use.

Bought these to compliment some "rubber chicken" fun at camp.. WOW!!!Everyone loved stretching the necks and launching these around.. little kids.. big kids.. super fun! And yes -- they did smell strongly when first opening the package but that cleared up pretty quickly.A real joy.. happy we purchased! :-)

Our little Australian Shepherd is obsessed with playing fetch and with playing 'tuggie.' Several months ago, we acquired a small (about 5 inches long) rubber duck in a gift box that she adores...and it has become worn out and we have been looking for a replacement for it. I ordered these in the hopes that they would be the 'right ones' however these are not. They are filled with some sort of soft filling that feels like beads and they arrived with a strong petroleum odor. The odor does diminish in time, but when we gave one of these to our dog, she spit it out and didn't want to play with it. I'm almost glad she doesn't want to play with it because I'm sure she'd tear it and then I'd have to clean up the beads that it is filled with.The box arrived quickly and the item is as described, so I think they would be fine for novelty gifts, or just about any other things you would use a 'rubber duck' for except as a dog toy.

I don't consider myself a rubber chicken expert, but these are high-quality and lots of fun. Stress balls were all the rage a few years ago, and I've had many of them, but having a rubber chicken around the office to squeeze when tensions are high is much more effective. I'll be buying another dozen soon.

Wish these were a little bigger, but we can play roasted chicken. :) Throw the chicken in the pot that's on top of someone's head. Lots of laughter.

While these do seem smaller than 8 inches to me, they worked perfect for my "crazy chicken lady" costume. I had them hanging around my waist on a rope belt. Everyone loved it. They do smell a bit, when you first get them, so you'll want to air them out before use. I also tossed them at co-workers, which turned out to be fun. By the end of the day, everyone had one and you never knew when they would be flying at you. They are very squishy, and kind of feel like real chicken skin.Would be fun to make up all kinds of games to use them in.

We use these for our Cub Scout chicken launcher. They work great and are so cool looking. Durability Is great and last a long time!

We needed to make a homemade trophy that required this chicken. This was a GREAT value for 12 chickens!! A dozen chicken allowed some trial and error for the trophy and my kids and their friend's each got to keep a chicken!!! These things feel a little gross --- which is perfect. They are made of rubber and are squishy. The kids loved them.
