Very soft and flexible, seems like it will hold up. Got those 2 vacumn lines pictured and the coolant overflow out of the 5ft pack. The blue adds a nice touch too.

Didn't collapse when vacuum was applied from intake, looked good and works 100 times better the collapsed or old rubber vacuum lines.

Okay first things first, let's talk about the hose "Min temperature: -40 C. Max temperature: 220 C/428 F." show me where else you can find those type of specs? These are stellar specs!!The hose is really nice, it's thick, allows for some serious bends without closing up on it self, it's stretching so it should not get frail and start to crack, It really is a nice hose, i bought some 3mm and 4mm (didn't use the 5% discount though (BAH).. so as far as the hose is concerned it's really nice.Now to the seller (other than Amazon, their supplier I guess) Thumbs down! 1) you may get 5', you may get 4' 8", it's all over the board, that needs to be remedied, you are selling 5', it should be 5' (otherwise I think it's fraud or something based on unit of measurement etc.etc. 2), the ends are not cut clean, so even if you get lucky and get the full 5', you have to cut 1/8-1/4" off to get a clean edge and if you have to do that to both sides, well again you bought a useable 5' and if the ends are cut at an angle or other, it's not 5' usable. So this needs to be fixed ASAP.. The quality on the hose is really nice however.One additional note, keep your UGR8 diecast sticker or whatever and charge less for the hose. Maybe switch to a tiny sticker and keep the tin for the bigger hose, l I'm not going to use these UPGR8 tin pieces for anything, so stop sending them, and reduce the price of the hose! :)

I bought this for an oil draining device for my Toyota. This device comes with a clear plastic hose that gets stiff in the cold weather and has "memory" so it's tough to use in the cold. This hose is great for this. I don't have any real experience with how long it will last using it for oil changes, but I've done 2 with it and love it. The nice thing is I only need about 10" of the hose so I will be able to cut small pieces several times and most likely will never use the entire hose unless the oil just eats it up, which so far, does not seem likely.

The hose is good. The low (star) rating is due to the stated working pressure rating. I would compare it to thick wall surgical tubing quality. The pressure rating is stated at 0.3 to 0.9 MPa. = 45.3 to 130 psi. NO WAY will this hose work at even to low side of this pressure. I believe the correct pressure rating should be 0.03 to 0.09 MPa / 4.5 to 13.0 psi. I pressurized this hose with air to a maximum of 50 psi and it expanded to over 1 inch OD. There is no way I would put that kind of working pressure on this hose. As to the hose ability to carry vacuum it is poor as well. The hose burst pressure is rated at 2MPa or 290psi. I would not want to be around this hose at half that pressure. As to the hose ability to work at vacuum. The Wall is comparatively thick, but 1 m. collapsed full length at 20" hg vacuum. This hose would not effectively work attached to an engine manifold vacuum port. I do not know what automotive use this hose would be good for. Smaller diameters would make great windshield washer hose. This size (8mm ID), maybe a siphon hose, but that's all I will ever use it for. It is of good quality materials. Seems to be gasoline and oil resistant. I kept the hose as it's not worth the time and trouble to send it back.

This hose is DURABLE. Its a lot thicker than I expected it to be, which is a good thing but if youre buying this to replace some vacuum lines or whatever else on your car, you may need to get bigger clamps as the inner diameter will match perfectly (assuming you order the correct size) but the outside diameter is pretty big, I used this to replace my PCV lines to add in an oil catch can, and the hose is 2x as thick as the factory lines
