My granddaughter absolutely loved this and played for hours with it on her birthday. We were so impressed with the quality, and we thought how well it was wrapped and packed.

My 5 year old niece loved it. It’s was a Christmas present and hard for her to open on her own which is good, it came well she package. She loved it and it’s a great aid to teach children spelling and maths in a fun environment, however, it is a tad DIY’ish which means I could have made one at home and bought all the magnetic numbers and thinks separately and could have cut a piece of whiteboard and stuck it to an equally sized piece of blackboard myself. The rest to the stuff is trivial, you could pick the chalk a blackboard, a whiteboard, and all the other wood and equipment up yourself and probably make it at home yourself. But,overall, Good packing, well presented and great fun kids in nursery up to the age of around 5 years.

I brought one of these sets for my 2 and 4 year old to share, when it came through I was amazed at how well presented it was in its little box, it made it look really expensive and I thought how nice a gift it would make for other kids in the family at Christmas time or birthdays, I brought the alphabet and numbers one but I noticed they did others so will buy another so my children can have one each

I wanted this product as a better alternative to plastic. The presentation and packaging is lovely but I was disappointed by a couple of things.The white board has a protective cellophane on it and when you take this off to use it leaves bits of cellophane around the edges that i can't pull off.Some of the letters and numbers haven't been cut out very well, leaving a lot of white around the outside and cut too close to the number or letter.There is no number 10, you have to use separate 1 and 0 which is confusing and also means number 1 is missing from number line.Lastly the magnets don't stay on the fridge as well as plastic ones do, they often flick off and don't hold pictures as well as plastic.I think we will end up buying plastic after all as we bought them to support my child's learning in reception class and they don't quite do the job, such a shame.

After looking at similar items I went for this one on the strength of the previous reviews.Completely satisfied. Beautifully packaged and would make a perfect present that will be appreciatedby the adults on the strength of that alone. Well made and an ideal size for the little ones to play withon their laps. Some of the very small magnetic pieces might be best put aside for very small childrenunless supervised.

Product is ok - not really worth the money but it will do.Some of the letters are missing so I would appreciate the seller contacting me to sort out some new magnets.Cheers

Can't believe the quality in the presentation of this item. My boy has autism, and I try to get him numbers, letters or wooden toys as he loves all of these. He's nearly 5, so you can imagine the various v-tech, Smyths and ToysRUs stuff I've bought him. He's seldom interested. He absolutely loves this chalk/whiteboard with magnetic numbers. Presentation was like nothing I've seen before. His SN nursery loved it and I'll be gifting them a few sets when he leaves in March to go to his specialist unit in the local mainstream school. I had been thinking about how I will thank them for the last 18mths of care they've given him. Wooden play sets from Jacques are perfect!

Bought for a 2.5yr old boy for Christmas and absolutely loves it.

This is such a cute gift. It comes in a cardboard box that has a Union Jack print and is wrapped. The actual board is inside this package and is the ideal size for the hands of small kids. I got this for my 4-year old nephew who is keen to learn the alphabet and numbers.Also, there was a small note inside the package explaining who at the company had wrapped up the gift. It was a lovely personal touch and very cute. If you're looking for a gift, this is great.

Sehr schönes Design, zum Kennenlernen von Buchstaben gut geeignet. Für SchülerInnen, die schon schreiben und lesen zu wenig Buchstaben, da Worte nicht gelegt werden können.

Dieser Artikel hat eine hervorragende Qualität und eine wunderschöne Verpackung. Man kann vielseitig damit spielen und dabei auch viel lernen. Es macht einfach Spaß.

Dabei gibt es ein Stift der nur einmal funktioniert hat.:-(
