Sturdy and useful
I love this cheese mold with the press. It makes great cheese. You need to keep turning the cheese so you don't end up with a rim on the side.

The follower is a bit too small.
Very sturdy high quality plastic that's easy to use and clean. Other reviewers have it right though: the follower is a bit too small and it makes a "rim" of cheese around the edge of your wheel. I haven't trialed it out yet but I'm thinking about cutting a disk of plastic to fit between the follower and cheese to solve this.

Lid slightly too small
The lid is just a bit too small so when you press at higher weight the cheese ends up with an unattractive lip that you have to remove.

great cheese mold
Got this mold for my husband-- he loves the larger size and the ease of use.

Works well for the home cheesemaker
Good size for home cheesemaking. Very sturdy and follower is useful for this mold and others I already have. The height of this mold is good for recipes calling for one gallon of milk but the follower works with my mold that handles two gallon recipes. Additionally you can start in a taller mold then move to this one when the curds consolidate (thus freeing up your taller mold for another batch). Good addition to my molds.

No Instructions
I just received this a couple days ago, I haven't tried to use it yet, so it might be good, fine or even great. My concern is there are absolutely no instructions on how to use it at all. If you are a novice at trying to make cheese, this might be a problem. which I am. If you already know how then that's great for you, but what about the rest of us??

Good value for very little cost
Good value and durable. Made cheese in it the day I got it. I will be getting 2 more as I progress to making cheddar.

The follower is too small!
The follower is so loose in the mold that is leaves a large bump/divot in the cheese. It also makes it difficult to center and balance on the cheese for an even top and bottom (depending on your press). The follower even has tons of space when it is on the bottom of the mold with no cheese in it (as the edges of the mold are tapered). Maybe I got the wrong follower?Pay a bit more and get a better mold that does not have tapered sides and a follower that fits properly. Was reading reviews before purchasing and found that someone said there was no indent made by the follower as it fits perfectly. Not sure how that is possible with what I received...*Seller please advise*
